Marking notes?

In America you can mark notes with a url i.e www.wheresgeorge.com can I do the same on Euro notes?

Yes here are also people who are writing on the bills eurobilltracker.com

But if the bill has been marked and ends up at a National Bank it will be
destroyed, so only mark bills which have already been marked!

On one of my hit notes there was a mark near the serial number, like this:

I have stamped some old notes, but no hits yet...
