Question about dots.
If i am on holiday f.e. in Paris.
So i return to Belgium and input the bills as origen Paris.
I get a hit but it is with somebody from Paris.
BUT the bill is now in Belgium so if i entered Hasselt for example it was a big hit AND there the bill is right now.
You understand my point?

I have 78 now - 74 E, 4 W
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

BUT a few days after you enter it, you have a hit with someone in Hasselt for example...

Usually people enter the notes as originating where they got them, and if they're concerned about things like that, enter that information in the comment field... e.g. "Travelled with me from Paris to Hasselt". You can of course also do the opposite - enter the notes as being from Hasselt, and write in the comment that you got them in Paris, but that strikes me as kind of backwards... AND you don't get a dot in Paris.

Personnaly, I use the following rule : I write down the name of the place where I have been touching the bill. If I got on bussiness trip ; and I have got no access to Internet immediately, I have a sheet of paper where I write down the name + postcode of the place I got the bill and when I come back home, I register it at the place I wrote down (giving in the comment field the date I had the bill in hand)

Bills always have been somewhere before...

dots per bills

Post by Nivram » Sat Apr 15, 2006 7:26 pm

I've got 57 dots on my Europe map.

But what i would really be interested in, is how much dots per bills do you have ? (I'm new to this topic, so sorry, if this already has been discussed, but i have not read through all of the 46 pages yet...)

I guess, that might be a category, i could be quite good in. (At least one category, where i'm good... )

I have 22,2 dots per 1000 bills.
