Tracking bills of other currencies - the definitive guide (probably)

There are countless references to other tracking sites in our forum, but I don't think there has been a thread that lists them thoroughly. Well, I hope to achieve that here.

Starting points: EBT links page * Bill tracking on Wikipedia (Eng.)

I've sorted the sites by continent and alphabetically (when applicable, I've provided links to English-language threads concerning specific sites):

Africa

N/A

Asia/Pacific

Money Tracker - Image AUD/Dollar - www.moneytracker.com.au

Europe

N/A

North America

Where's George - Image USD/Dollar - www.wheresgeorge.com
Where's Willy - Image CAD/Dollar - www.whereswilly.com

Other options (I'd recommend using the sites listed previously as they have larger user-bases, but I feel I should also mention these):

Canadian Money Tracker - Image CAD/Dollar - www.cdn-money.ca
Track Dollar - Image USD/Dollar - www.trackdollar.com

Inactive or defunct:

www.currencypath.com - An ambitious tracking project which had a number of "ups and downs" before going offline indefinitely.

www.wheresmymoola.co.za - South African rand notes could be tracked here.

www.msg-bill.com - The most successful yen bill tracking site yet, but now it's gone.
www.osatsu.net - A tracking site for Japanese yen bills once lived here.
www.trackgandhi.com - This domain was registered with the intention of tracking Indian rupee notes, but it had a very short existence.
www.wheresnt.com * www.wheresrenminbi.com - These two "Wheres" sites are gone, leaving us with fewer tracking opportunities in Asia (Taiwanese dollar and Chinese yuan bills).

www.cashfollow.ch - A former site for tracking Swiss franc notes which had a long existence.
www.cupura.ru - The first Russian ruble bill tracking site.
www.doshtracker.co.uk - Another site (pound notes) with a checkered history.
www.findlizzy.co.uk - This site had a decently-sized userbase of British pound note trackers, but that, sadly, did not stop its demise.
www.grn-trip.com - Ukrainian hryvnia bills.
www.kovesdapenzed.hu - Hungarian forint users.
www.moja-lova.com - The first Croatian kuna notes tracker.
www.roobex.ru - Russian ruble bills.
www.sek-tracker.se - The original Swedish krona bills tracker.
www.sedlarna.se - Another old tracking site for krona users.

www.ontabenito.com - A Mexican peso bill tracker. Currently down.

Where's Your Money is not just for pounds. They also deal with other currencies, at least euros and dollars.

I did find that site in my searches. I opted not to list it, partly because users there have the habit of posting pictures of notes - upon further inspection, it seems they're careful about not showing serial numbers - but mostly because I made the choice of not listing any other site for euros. I've seen it happen in the past, it can be... complicated.

I just linked to this thread on Reddit, because someone asked "What is a hobby you can get into for almost no money?"

Ooh, interesting. Well played! :) Although with 18, 000+ comments at the moment, I fear that comment is hopelessly lost.

Also, let me just mention another minor update to the thread. Added a few forum links, changed the ruble tracker (they keep dying and coming back).

Still possible to enter notes. But there are less than ~10 active trackers :-(

Thanks for that. I will put it back in Europe's list. Or I will change the name of the last list to "Inactive, defunct or defective".

Update:

* added a couple of notes about one or two sites.
* changed the ruble tracking site back to Roobex because it seems to be working consistently again, and has the largest user-base of this currency.

Thanks for this. I've decided to include a short list called "Other options" because I feel sites that have been around for a long time - such as Track Dollar or Cdn. Money Tracker - deserve a mention, even if they don't have the largest user-bases.
