EBTCheck - notes check online - and a few statistics

Hello all,

Since development of EBTST seems to be have stopped, I created an another tool. I looks most like EBTST and has copied the layout.
It can not generate as much statistics as EBTST can do, but you might give it a try.

Sad to say: my tool is really slow, because it runs on a singleboard computer.

Discovered one bug: if there are too long comments in the CSV file, it won't be imported. Hopefully fixed now.

Just a question : why my notes data are in processing ?

And just, because it's asking the e-mail address to register, it's necessary to pay attention to the new European directive : "Directive on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data" !

I don't know what exactly the European directive says but I just know (because I'm a member of an association of my university) that for a website it's necessary to make some modification to be "regular" against the EU directive ...

I hope EBTCheck works and you find the time to maintain it, Marty. Congratulations and thanks beforehand.

Now, here's a report of my first experience:

• Yesterday night I used it for the first time. I went to bed more than an hour later, and it was still running (I believe it was still "uploading" but I'm not sure). From time to time I clicked on "EBT notes check" and it kept jumping from about 19k incorrect notes to a few hundred to over 10k.
• The above problem may have been related to the bug you found (because I do have enormous comments).
• Now, I tried to open the page but I was logged off. When I logged in again, the "running jobs" job types were new: 11 - generate notes related files (and its subjob 38 - generate short code bingo page).
• My use id was 30 yesterday, today I thought I was 29. But then I realized the message "Red user id is yours." and that "29" isn't red. So those jobs running (the ones I just mentioned in the previous paragraph) are in fact not for my notes. Only after realizing this I decided to click on Public stats, and I'm glad they're already created! Here they are: http://ebtcheck.spdns.eu/ebtcheck/stats/user30
• I never got any email, although I chose that option. That may be because I chose that option after I uploaded my files and while I was waiting for the stats to be created.
• I find the order of the left menu items confusing. I believe it would be easier to understand if it followed a chronological sequence.
• I love the short code page! Iirc, it's the most complete of all stats apps so far. My suggestion: instead of note 2004-05-04, I would prefer it to be L 2004-05-04, that is, the note link moved to the date and the country letter appended to the flag.
• Another suggestion for the short code page: when the lowest or highest in my collection is the absolute lowest or highest possible (at the moment, according to the known combinations), I would love that to be highlighted (bold, red, whatever you find more appropriate).
• A bug: the "Notes" amount on my Hit list stopped at 19310 on my 54th hit, thus yielding a wrong hit ratio after that.
• The only stats I miss at the moment is one that I believe isn't created by anyone: denomination x series / year (or per month). This would allow me to know, for example, how fast has the percentage of Europa tenners grown since 2014.

(Thanks for incorporating my suggestions! I hope someone else finds them interesting.)


On another note: I see you added two supposedly new tenners to the known combination list. This escalated fast, but in fact it arose from a mistake by Panimici, who already acknowledge it. Guy Sohier was fooled too but he just told me in private that he would correct his "liste", removing the V010 and Z004 Europa tenners.
