I recently had a hit on a note that was a hit already. So, a passive hit making a triple out of a normal hit. This one.
Although the message I got said 'You've got a new hit', the total amount of hits didn't grow. So, according both to the My Hits page and my User Report's 'Interesting Hits'
https://eurobilltracker.com/my_hits (Babel constant: m_myhits_numhits_browser) 'You had 519 hits'
https://pt.eurobilltracker.com/profile/ ... user=10680 (Babel constant: M_2048_NUMBER_OF_HITS) 'Interesting hits: 519'
I had 519 hits before this one, and still have 519 hits after it. So, this hit didn't count to the hit count. I know that this is by design. But I don't like it.
In fact, I had 6 triple hits (to be accurate: triply found notes, or doubly hit notes). So, my total amount of hits is 519+6=525. This (525) is the real number of times that one of my notes was hit (or was a hit if you prefer).
I would really like these texts to change to something more accurate (and also more useful, in my opinion):
You had 525 hits with 519 of your notes
Interesting hit notes: 519
This small change should consequently also change the hit ratio to a more accurate figure.
I have 186730 notes. My real hit ratio, as shown in my profile, should be
- 186730/525 = 1 : 355.68
- 1 : 359.79 (which corresponds to the meaningless 186730/519)
Note: this change would also affect general statistics of Interesting hits, hits per day, etc., which affect several pages within eurobilltracker.com.
