Euro bills in your wallet

In the United States all bills are the same size regardless of denomination. I’ve long been curious about what it’s like having different-sized bills in your wallet. I assume that if I had a wallet full of Euro bills, I’d put the €5 bills on top, then the €10 bills, and so on. I’d probably line them up along the left and bottom edges, but I wouldn’t be confident that they’d stay that way. Is this an issue at all? I know that many countries have used different-sized banknotes.

I’d also like to say that as an American, I’m appalled that Trump is picking a fight with our European friends.

I have a tiny —although amazingly useful— wallet/billfold (similar to these ones, but in a discontinued style).

I only keep :note-5: in its banknote compartment, folded just once in the center.

I keep my other banknotes in my backpack, in basically three different pockets/compartments:
  • banknotes I am about to deposit
  • banknotes I still have to register at EBT
  • the 2002 series banknotes that I am spending in commerce along with the fivers
All of these stacks are unfolded and in the order you described: from smaller to larger denomination, smaller on top.

Thank you for being openly anti-Trump, let's just hope freedom of speech doesn't get banned, and that installed tyranical oligarchy doesn't end like other fascist regimes did.

I have a very classic billfold wallet from the Danish brand Taylor&com https://www.neye.dk/tyler-co-pung-broo ... 850600000/  The wallet has two bill compartments, which is absolutely crucial for me: in my everyday life here in Denmark I have DKK bills in one compartment and some EUR in the other (usually some that I've got from the ATM and that I just deposit soon after). The DKK has also different size banknotes, though all of them have the same height. When I travel, I usually put the ones I've haven't registered yet into one compartment and the ones I've registred and going to spread around into the other. This way I'm not getting confused :D As a perfectionist I always put the banknotes right side up, starting from the smallest denominations and going up to the biggest. Not enough with that but I also make them align perfectly into the middle of the wallet.. haha  I usually try to avoid to fold the banknotes at all costs..

I use a Secrid wallet, I was gifted it years ago. It does fit more bills than it seems, around 16 if properly folded, wrapping the inner plastic sheet. Today I have the followong:
1 x :note-5:
2 x :note-20:
1 x :note-50:

Totalling €95.
