I agree with you that every country should produce banknotes for themselves, just like with the coins. Finland e.g. could very well still produce notes for their demand. And that would be even more interesting for us EBT:ters with more combinations

Time will tell if it's only going to be France and Germany printing the 2026 series.
Every European Union member country has their national sides on the euro coins, so every nation should have their own serial number as well - and use it! No matter if they actually print the notes themselves or outsource the task. Great topic to discuss about
