Last year, in 2024, France has minted 10c, 20c, 50c coins with new faces.
In France we can find 20c coins, 10c and 50c coins are more difficult to find.
I wonder if you have found this type of coins outside France,

How many coins were minted in 2024?

I received a 20 cent coin from the 2024 issue of J. Backer at a local store in Pakruojis, Lithuania, around April 2025. Condition: XF. This is the first coin from the new series i have received from circulation.

I found each one in complet UNC rolls (more than 15 for each) !!
It's easy to found them now

And to be more precise, these are the new coins : They are different from your @Phil if you look close, the stars are not in the line, your picture his from the first design, coins were mint like your picture but destroyed because the ECB says that's it's to load, and it's difficult to see stars

Excellent news, let's see now if they spread outside France

I got it yesterday at a small local store in Pakruojis, Lithuania.

I just got back from three weeks in Europe and managed to find one of the Simone Veil 10 cent coins in Amsterdam.

Last July I spent a couple of weeks in France and managed to find them all. When I came back to Spain, my father gave me another 50c he had found and kept for me

For what it’s worth, they had also introduced new designs for the €1 and €2 coins two years earlier…

Yesterday, at a local store (Pakruojis,Lithuania), I received 50 cents in change featuring Marie Curie, issued in France in 2024.
