I am preparing to head to France (and Europe) for the first time in nearly eight years, and I am just curious if anything has changed re in getting rolls of coins in France?

Do certain branches of CIC (or are there other banks that now will do this) still provide rolls of coins to non-customers at the same €1 fee per roll like it was on my last visit?

Thank you again!

Hiya, have you tried National bank? Not sure about the French one, but most EU ones provide rolls or even bags of coins at nominal value. Last time I walked out of NBS with almost 22kgs of coins at no extra charge.

Hello goldeneye,
Unfortunately, CIC banks have stopped providing coin rolls for non-customers.
