@mods: Please feel free to delete this topic if you feel like it’s redundant.

Over the years, a lot of users have made useful software and websites related to EBT. I've been compiling a list of links to these different resources. Most of these are already well known, of course, but I thought this could be a helpful list to point newer users to. If anything is missing, please feel free to point it out and I will update this post.

Please note: when applicable, the icons before each entry link to the relevant topic on the forum.

Official EBT Links wrote: Image Detailed Shortcode Statistics (by avij) — Total number of notes entered and first appearance on EBT for each value/shortcode/serial number combination. Country-by-country statistics can be found here.

Image EBT Dots — an interactive dotmap, you can click on any dot and get the list of all existing city/postcode combinations for that dot. You can also copy/paste your own dotmap's URL in the field at the bottom to use that instead of the global dotmap.

Image EBT Online Shop — You can buy your own official EBT merchandise here. Part of the profits help cover the running costs for EBT.

Personal Statistics Tools wrote: These websites are hosted by individual EBT users. They generate statistics for the notes you've entered. For the first two, you’ll need to upload a .csv file of all the notes you've entered (and if needed, a .csv file of your hits).

Image EBTST (by dserrano5) — Generates a bunch of statistics. As far as I know, the tool is not being updated regularly. Public statistics of other users can be viewed here.

Image EBTCheck (by marty44) — Similar to the above, but has some different statistics and is more up to date. It also automatically generates updates for several of the forum games. Public statistics of other users can be viewed here.

Image https://ebt.fr.eu.org/ (by aloxe) — Creates a map of all the French communes in which you have entered notes, and automatically generates updates for several of the games in the French-speaking forum.

General Statistics Tools wrote: These websites provide general statistics, i.e. they do not require access to the .csv file of notes you’ve entered.

Image EBT User Ranking (by MDeen) — A ranking of the top 900 EBT users, including their progression in the past month. The site also estimates the time needed for each user to overtake the one above him in the ranking. A chart with the progression in the past 30 days can be found here.

Image EUR Plates Dispersion (by lmviterbo) — An interactive map showing the real geographic dispersion of Euro banknotes.

Information on Euro Notes wrote: Information regarding notes, useful both for trackers and collectors.

 Corrispondenza tra codice corto e seriale (miniguida) (by giulcenc) — Detailed tables explaining how serial numbers relate to the last two digits in the shortcode, i.e. the note's position on the sheet when printed.

 les eurobillets (by g.s.51) — All the information you'll ever need about which combinations were printed and what they are worth to collectors. The main pages only lists combinations for the Europa series, information for the 2002 series can be found here.

EBT-related Software wrote: Software developed by EBT users for tracking and/or statistics.

Image Billy (by taucher) — Windows software to enter your notes on EBT.

Image EBTNotesCheck (by marty44) — Software which checks your notes for unknown note combinations.

Image nigmm (by tt.01) — An offline tool for generating statistics about your notes.

Image EBT.art (by spasiba) — The EBT accelerated registration tool allows you to track notes by scanning the short codes and serial numbers with the camera on your Android device.

Image EBT Dot Safari (by lmviterbo) — Using your device’s GPS, this online tool displays your current location on your dotmap, as well as your nearest untracked dot. It only needs the censored .csv file of your notes, which you can download here (if you’re currently logged in to EBT).

Image iEBT (by Baumchen) — Allows you to track notes on iOS devices. The app is no longer available on the App Store.

This is an amazing compilation, and it should be fixed at the top.

Thanks for mentioning my tools, including Dot Safari, which is pretty recent!

At least on the Personal Statistics Tools and EBT-related Software sections, please consider the idea of indicating whenever a tool is no longer maintained, even if it keeps functional.

Thank you, both for the compliment and for developing these tools

That’s a really good idea. Based on their respective forum topics, it seems like EBTST, iEBT and nigmm are no longer being updated. The others in these two sections seem to be maintained regularly. Could someone confirm this is correct ? (It’s especially the Windows software I’m uncertain about. I’m not on Windows and I can’t run any of these programs to check how up to date they are).
