Hits from non-€ countries!

Post by lazza »

I'm sure I'm not alone on Eurobilltracker in having a fixation for statistics, and as I will probably be 90 years old before I get my first hit, I have been trawling through the statistics pages to keep myself busy.

I really like to see hits from non-€ countries, such as my own  Image! But I especially like this one which avoids the €uro-zone altogether!

Are there any others like that (other than hits within a single non-€ country)?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly ... anywayz, I have 1 hit comming from a non-Euro country. It's not a vacation hit  ... Suriname -> Belgium.

I think lazza means a hit in which only non-Euro countries are involved. His example is Canada-Switzerland, so I think you example of Suriname-Belgium is not a good one here, Bhoeyb!

That's quite cool 8)

... but only 50% successful, as Belgium is in the €-zone! For the Canada-Switzerland hit, neither location is a country that uses €uros as their currency (so a highly improbable hit). There are some others such as this and this which maybe get 75%, as they are hits within a single non-€uro country.

Um... hope that helps.... :? :? :? :?

Another 75% Hit comes from Malta...

Only 50% but amazing at all ---> This Hit!
This and this and this are nice traveller to exotic overseas-destinations, too

It seems that the swiss-canadian-meeting is the only hit of that kind so far

I would be happy with anything above 0%.... :(

I'm hoping that some Euros I exchanged in Bombay/Mumbai for Rupees earlier this year might turn up one day..... (only 2 x 10€ at Orchid hotel!) I was an EBT new-boy then, and didn't think to pick up some Euros while I was there....

I can imagine that. Let's hope UK will join the euro soon... (although it's perhaps too optimistic to say this...) If your 2 notes will become hits you definitely have a nice story behind it!

As far as my own hit: it's only in NL!

Well let´s see when I will have a hit with one of these

http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... ed6c055a7a

I withdrawn 14 20€ notes in cashpoint in Stockholm Arlanda before I flew to Helsinki. I spent the all notes in few diffrent cities in Finland and all the change I have got I imported to Ireland.

 Even EBT usage is very high in Finland, i hardly see a hit with one of these notes

I was very pleased to see the United Kingdom overtake the United States today in the total number of bills.... :D

Thanks to Senor Gooner for entering over 150 notes for the UK

We only need to overtake Switzerland to be the "biggest" country outside the €-zone... just 2135 more bills to go  ... The UK's 6th hit is very close, I'm sure!

It's impossible for the moment cause Switzerland is growing faster than UK.

My first hit was with a dutch guy, he entered his note in the UK and I did it more than 700 days later here in Veendam, it is still my best hit.
