Date for EBTM06: Amsterdam

Dear EBT-members,

You have voted, and you have chosen:
* 11/12/13 August
* 18/19/20 August
* 25/26/27 August
In this weekend Saturday will be the main day, but also on Friday and Sunday will be some activities.
So please vote for your favorite, and leave a reaction down here.

I voted the 18/19/20 August, because that's the best one for me. The others are also possible for me.

I voted for 11-12-13 august as, 15 August is a bank holiday in France... So it will be easier to make a longer trip on a long weekend...

But the other dates are Ok, too !

I voted for 25-26-27/8 because that's the only weekend I have left in August. The other two I'm on holiday in Hungary.

11-12-13 August 2006 is the only weekend in my holiday's which I can't come

ps. wasn't it better to take for example you ''wish'' serie like last year C-A-B for example?

Any weekend is fine if I know the date in time so that I can arrange things with my boss

Yup. It would definitely be better for many people, if you could vote two options at once. Because there sure are many people to whom only one of those weekends is problemous. Now those people will choose at random, which means the votes will be skewed. Using only the forum this could have been avoided by a dirty hack, which is, making the poll look like this:
( ) Weekend 1
( ) Weekend 2
( ) Weekend 3
( ) Weekends 1 and 2
( ) Weekends 1 and 3
( ) Weekends 2 and 3

Mmm, not agreeing on this completly. If you would pick one of the two weekendsoptions, you would actually place two votes, or does the vote split in 0,5 vote each weekend?

Any date which it will be, there will always people who can't make it. Anyway, it's just a poll, not a lifetreathing choice. At the end the meetingorganisation will choose the date, it's their perogative and I know for certain that they read all of the post in this thread as well, so they will take your reply's in mind as well...

At the moment I cannot definitively say, which weekend I can come, due to my job. But the first one is the less likely, but still possibile... If I can manage it, I'll come to either weekend.
