For those not familiar with it, what is a 'Finnish Style' Meeting? Where does it differ from the regular ones?

"Finnish style meetings" start around 3pm, or even later.
While most other meetings already start 9am or 10am

All Finnish meetings have been "no nonsense" meetings, in which we have just gathered in a bar and drunk beer for some 12h. Then we've gone sleeping and the next morning we've wandered home.
I somehow like the idea of travelling 500km to drink beer
Oh, actually the meeting in Oulu /did/ have some program. So, it was probably a "German/Dutch style" meeting

Reminds me of the good old times when I used to go out from friday evening till monday noon.
And it's about time I started traveling around again.

Won't it be a good idea to make a sticky of this topic?
It's a good overview of meetings, especially for those who want to go to more meetings than just their own national meetings (certainly for the meetings near the borders).
