Typical fake or friendly hit.
À banknote is found again 3 days and 8000 km away, it can be true,
But these two guys live in the same village, in north France...

Is this legit? https://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=246024573 hit with :flag-es: Castello 12100.

Dot is in :flag-pt:, zipcode is not from Portugal. Location could be Castello de la Plana :flag-es: 12100
User with 16 notes and 1st hit.

I like it to be real but I have my doubts. I'm sure something is wrong, if only just the location.

Explanation for the hits

I used to put old series notes in good condition (mainly Duisenberg) aside. As they didn't rise in price I decided to bring them into circulation.

When I drove to Bratislava I visited some 'famous' cash machines on the way. In Austria it's possible to change notes without being a client.
So I changed notes in Fischamend, Bruck an der Leitha, Mannersdorf, Kittsee and Hainburg.
Of course I hoped to get some hits, but I'm really surprised by the quantity and also destinations.

Hope it's clear

if you put mixed bundles in certain Sparkasse ATMs in certain areas in AT it's almost guaranteed that one of the power trackers who frequent that area will get most or part of that bundle, so if you mix a punch of "crazy" notes and put them in those ATMs many will most likely be found. Especially in Hainburg and Kittsee. That's why I personally would never put mixed bundles in that area (and anyways rarely mix anything), but to each their own. Still hope that something remains around Vienna so that I will also find 1 of the notes :D

Was bringt Euch das?

We are in the english forum, so I answer in english
I used 2 different Bankcards to change money and both worked.

Another detail regarding the notes I changed. I mostly changed old fivers and some 10 and 20. But not one old 5er has been found so far. So I guess that the machine filters the old 5ers and doesn't put them in circulation anymore...

I don't think so. A machine would filter out either all of the old notes or none of them.

The first reason could be that the machine doesn't give out any fivers at all.

A second reason could be that the case with the fivers was full when you paid them in.

Another reason, which I find highly likely is the one, that someone else was in need of fivers (e.g. a shop-owner) and withdrew a lot of them.

Hiya,
I have only Slovakian cards and quite a few to do some heavy Geldwechsel in SPK and it works. I do not have SPK card as I read it requires to have a "Wohnsitz" in Austria to be able to open an account, so I have never tried, Even though I would very much like to have one to be able to use ATMs also outsite of NiederOesterreich, where SPK does not allow foreign cards.

Hiya, I am not sure about German or other machines, but CSOB (KBC Group) bank ATMs in Slovakia are sorting out single notes out when depositing. One can hear distinct "zack" when it does so. And if it does not like a note, it says so on the receipt that it was put aside to be assessed by experts. Although I do not understand when and why as sometimes it returns some notes that cannot be deposited and sometimes it sets them aside and prints the said message on the receipt.
