I know we discussed this before, but there never was a poll.

If yes, how should we mark the bills?
Writing the URL, printing the URL, with a stamp?

Has anyone thought about using little stickers? That wouldn't damage or deface the bill.

So far, I'm the only one who voted no :)
IIRC, it was said elsewhere in EBT that marking bills is expressly forbidden
in €-zone, and marked bills are retired from circulation, thus reducing the "life" of a banknote (and the chances of getting multiple hits).

As an experiment I stamped a few 5 euro bills with the eurobilltracker url and now I wait and see if these bills have a greater chanche to be entered.

I think that marked bills have a significantly higher chance of multiple hit's. Chances on a hit of a random bill without telling anyone about this site is very small.

What is the amount of 5,10,20 and 50 euroblills that are prinyed?

A shop owner told me my bill was "dirty", when she saw the url of the site on the bill, even if it was little and on the side... she was a bit reluctant to accept it. :(

I'll stop to mark bills, I think.
