Through the years I have by mistake entered some notes using the wrong denomination, then edited to correct it. If such a note happens to be a hit it will not be public. I have had to go to Settings -> Share hits and check it. It will also do this for your unknowing hitpartner(s).

Is there a reason for this or is it just a simple bug?

Looking at the profile of craco, I noticed something:

His standard city is Beringen, but when you click on it, you go to the city profile of Paal.
Those are both part of the community of Beringen, but the city Beringen has its own profile.

Shouldn't point the profile of craco to the last city-profile?

At the Dutch forum, the user JAHOE tells he doesn't have the function "delete this bill" in his "contact"-menu.

We have a new country - South Sudan:

It split from Sudan via referendum.

The only Sudanese city in EuroBillTracker is Port Sudan, which stays in Sudan proper, so there's no need for reassigning city profiles to the new country. Nevertheless, the name should be added to the country drop-down menu and to the Babel system, for translations. Also, the national subdivisions of Sudan and South Sudan should be re-checked.

In the advanced and expert versions of the entering page there is now a lengthy description of the format of text to put in the importfield. I don't know how it was before (a few days ago), but it wasn't as lengthy as it is now.

Can this be removed from the expert page? It is the expert page. Expert users know how to use the site and you now have to scroll even more to get to this field.

How long does it normally take to get a response to an e-mail sent to contact @ eurobilltracker? I've sent an (English language) e-mail with a small change request to the contact mail address 2.5 days ago, and have yet to receive an answer...

(and yes, it was in english....)
if there's a shortage of volunteers, i would like to apply!

well, since few supporters check the contact@ these days, and those that do, do so only infrequently...
there is a reason we have the support form now: it's lots easier (and quicker) for us to handle; please use that for all requests (except if you cannot login of course)
