Zen Café - Todella kaunis

Translation:
We would meet whenever it's important that no one bothers or gets a chance to order you/me/us to do something.
We would give each other a reason for silentness, so you buy the time and I'm selling it.
You're really beautiful, you only live once. You're really wise, you only live for a while. You're really beautiful, you only live once. You're really wise, you only live for a while.

We would tolerate anything from each others, what I'd get from you could pay back those restless evenings and sleepless nights. The useless tries to grab time and all the work that was no good.
You're really beautiful, you only live once. You're really wise, you only live for a while. You're really beautiful, you only live once. You're really wise, you only live for a while.
I'd grab you without asking. I'd fear I in you not to be. I'd grab you without asking. I'd fear I in you not to be. I'd grab you without asking. I'd fear I in you not to be. I'd grab you without asking. I'd fear I in you not to be. I'd grab you without asking. I'd fear I in you not to be.
You're really beautiful, you only live once. You're really wise, you only live for a while. You're really beautiful, you only live once. You're really wise, you only live for a while.
Really beautiful. You only live once. Really wise. You only live for a while. Really beautiful. You only live once. Really wise. You only live for a while. Really beautiful. You only live once. Really wise.

We could do a miracle for each others. ...If you're able as I'm able to see.

Technically I'm not listening to anything - I'm at work and it's dead quiet right now... Funny thing for a bunch of journalists, they're not talking!!! Anyway, no music here.

But I've had this song playing over and over in my mind for weeks now, I think I posted it before, but I can't be bothered to check. And I've got an update: I bought the CD with the soundtrack of The Disappearance of Finbar, including The Ballad of Finbar Flynn.

Soooo loooong, Finbar Flynn
Nobody knows, where you been
Were you taken by aliens, or held and bound
We just know, you're not around...
I don't háve a life.

O-Zone - Dragostae Din Teï

Alo, Salut, sunt eu, un haiduc,
Si te rog, iubirea mea, primeste fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt eu Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.

Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.

Te sun, sa-ti spun, ce simt acum,
Alo, iubirea mea, sunt eu, fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt iarasi eu, Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.

Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.

...Yes brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave Sir Robin

Yes I have this DVD on my collection too :D
And now for something completely different..

The soundtrack to Velvet Goldmine. Songs like 2HB, 20th Century Boy, T.V. Eye, The Ballad of Maxwell Demon, Hot One, Baby's on Fire, Satellite of Love, Gimme Danger, Tumbling Down give me chills every single time I hear them.

Some lyrics from Hot One:

Well, you're the grand one
Have you noticed?
When you walk in all the fairy boys are very nervous
Well, my starship doesn't want me
And neither does this world
I'm glad I caught you on my view screen sailor

You're the grand one
Come and court me
'Cause this wooing is what I'm wanting
When my spacesuit comes to warm me
And hold me like a god
I am the captain of the gravity, Maxwell

Everywhere I see your faces

Hot one
From a starship over Venus to the Sun
But it's a crime!
You're mistaken!
Momentary seizuire of love - oh love

And of course hearing Jonathan Rhys-Meyers sing Tumbling down... Or Ewan McGregor with Gimme Danger, and Lou Reed, Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and Brian Molko (Placebo)... After hearing 2HB, I started re-reading the Casablanca screenplay. I need to get this one from the videostore... (but I'm watching Velvet Goldmine first!)
I don't háve a life.

The people who made the song are from Romania
So I think it's in the Romanian language, but sometimes I think it are just some words they've made up.

Yes, it is Romanian - at least every single word is Romanian. I had a Romanian friend translate the text for me, and although every line makes sens, the text as a whole does not. But this is not exactly unusual for songs in the charts.

...and BTW it's the gayest song I know, in both senses of the word...
