..may be but the number of hits is not a proof otherwise we have to moderate a lot of other hits. I don't know this users but if we permit to some users to have hundred and hundred hits both we must give possibility of innocence to other.

Ok but in this case, why the previous hits between these two users have been moderated ?
good question..why? I think we need to have a more precisely definition of friendly hit in our rules. Do we base our decision in hits numbers both? Ok but this must be valide for all, in the Interval days? ok..but the same for all.
To take notes from a bank where you know other users exchange notes? yes for me the hits with this users are friendly.

Sorry, but that is just crazy.

Here in Vienna, with the large number of users, and the large number of notes they enter every month, I can be almost certain that someone is exchanging notes at every bank in the city. But my top hitpartner is a fellow Viennese -- and I met him for the first time in July. Since we never met, how on earth can those hits we had be "friendly"??

By your logic, if I exchange notes in a city where I know other users are active, those hits should be friendly also. I guess that means I can't spend any money when I visit Bologna!

By these reasons, almost all hits between these 2 users, magojaume and celder, should be moderated...

I've found that one of them asked for the moderation of some of them, but they are still there...

Even more, for one of the users the hits appear as moderated, but not for the other 8O  8O

Hi Adela!!! this is not true :D :D from "setting panel", "share hits" you can choise which hits show to the other and which no

Why this yes and 90% of this no? http://it.eurobilltracker.eu/profile/?c ... city=38814 this is why i asked to have rules well define to determine if a hit is friendly or not.

Hi Presi... I haven't got to understand your explanation. I haven't found the options you mention perhaps I haven't yet got any hit
In any case, the hit ratio of those users is too good to be in Spain, near Madrid :o

Before anyone else mentions it:
I just made a mistake when entering a bundle of :note-5:-ers, hitting into consecutive serials.

Since I have already exchanged the bundle this morning, I cannot verify what happened.
I suppose I entered the final digits of the note in the wrong order.

Mea culpa, I'm sorry.

No worries Adela:

Go to the EBT web page, then, click on "Configuración".
And, whenever you have a hit (I dunno what if you don't... I don't remember  ) you will see something like this:

Ermmm... true.
presidente wrote: this is why i asked to have rules well define to determine if a hit is friendly or not.
Friendly or not, those Hits ARE OBVIOUSLY UNINTERESTING! as we already know that the banknotes were in that place. We can easly assume that the banknotes aren't going to scape quickly from the city, once they are tracked. Thus tracking a bill in the same city as it was one year ago... is uninteresting (IMHO).

I think we have to remember the purpose of our game. Is it getting hits? I don't think so. I think the main purpose is follow the bills that we have touched with our own hands in order to see how far they have gone or how far they came from! am I wrong?

And the more honest, faithful and accurate information we give, the more we will enjoy this game.

Jes...I love you!!!! you wrote what I try to explain all in the forum, italian and international..but we are few to think this. EBT hit list is full of non interesting hits. We have users with hundred and hundred of hits both with an interval of 2 or 3 days and 0 km. What I want that is clear I don't think that Wien or Helmbrechts users are faker but for example most of Wien-Wien hits are completely non interesting for who don't live in Wien.
About the two spanish users mine was only a provocation: why we ask moderation for users that has 10 hits both and we don't ask nothing for users that has 300 or 400 hits both?
This is why, in my opinion, we need a rule to indentify without doubts a friendly (or not interesting) hit

Thank you so much, Jes  :) But at the Configuration page, I only have the options "Share maps" and "Share stats". I suppose because the other two, "Share hits" and "Share hitpartners", are only meaningful when you have a hit. I don't

It is the best way I could imagine to express this idea :D

It seems today some faker is attacking our well-known and respected user Presidente&Alex77:
http://it.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=5117397" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (this user uses a very similar nick, and inserted very few notes in his short life obtaining hits with almost every note inserted! - maybe found serials on other sites? - )
http://it.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=18092466" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (another very similar nickname, and hitting the "real" Presidente&Alex77!! )

I think there is no one rule for this problem. The definition of "interesting" lies in the eyes of the beholder
and must not be mixed up with the definition of "friendly" which is already given, but totally different.

I agree also with you Franz but for example, if you go to exchange notes in one bank where you know sure other users went to make the same, the hits with this users are friendly or not interesting?...for me both. (it's an example, I am not speaking about you :D :D )

This depends. It is one case going into a bank where you know another tracker has exchanged notes in the past few hours or days,
but it is a completely different case going into a bank where you suppose another tracker might have exchanged notes in the past.

As for Vienna for example, if the latter of the two cases has to be avoided, I would not be able to go into any
bank branch because of the vast number of trackers in Vienna exchanging their money in virtually every bank here.
Asking for such measures would be ridiculous. It is nonsense. This is what Gnaeus already pointed out.

And trust me, I would never go into a bank branch and exchange bills into a given denomination when I knew that another tracker
has brought notes of this denomination into the bank the very same day or even a few days before, because I don't want and I don't need
this kind of hits. Now this might sound a bit arrogant, but in fact I'd rather not want the hassles of dealing with accusations of "forced" hits.

A friendly hit is defined when two people working together or being in close contact like couples or family members or real good friends inadvertantly
enter the same note into EBT. Anything else is not friendly. And as I already wrote before, not interesting is defined individually by each tracker.
