The table under "Lucky bundles" shows the days with more than one hit notes, sorted by hit ratio. For example if a given day you inserted 3 notes and all of them eventually became hits (either active or passive), the hit ratio for that day will be 1, and it will likely appear at the top of the table.

The section "Other hit potential" shows the 10 days with best hit ratios, that could potentially bring more hits to your tally.

tralla wrote:1. Can you sort the notes/{month,year} in reverse order, current {month,year} on top? It's a lot more convenient to find your current data at first glance and not have to scroll down a possibly pretty long table.

Cheers, tralla
I support this idea.

Again, I'm asking something to hit bundle page. Is it possible to limit bundles some other way that the same date on entering the notes. For example I have on bundle in wich my entering of "the bundle" are from two cities 600 km apart from each the other. I wouldn't consider them into the same bundle...

NIG :
Duisenberg = 1997
Trichet = 16804
Draghi = 0
Totale = 18801

EBTST:
Duisenberg = 1592
Trichet = 17175
Draghi = 34
Totale = 18801
Dove sta l'inghippo ?

May I suggest coding links (to a note report, for example) so that they open a new tab/window? Nothing major, but it would be a nice touch, I think. Something else you may want to look into, under "Hit locations", the city listed in "My city" is, indeed, the city where I lived for most of my EBT life, but I moved about two months ago, and immediately updated my EBT profile accordingly.

Is known NIG is outdated. I'm planning to boycott EBTST, though :mrgreen:.

My results:
EBTST - 439x WD
NIG - 469x WD
That's 30 WD gone.

I have 20 E/X :note-10: , NIG all states them as WD. (including my first and so far only MD-note)
I have 1 E/E :note-5: , it's WD according to NIG.
I have 6 E/H :note-5: , again WD according to NIG.
So far 27 unjustified NIG-WD found which is 90% of the 'lost' WD-notes.

It is very well possible that E/F :note-5: and E/G :note-5: are also unjustified NIG-WD but at this moment I have none of them.

I am still curious for those last three. Has someone any thoughts about this?

Edit 1:

2 more found... both G/X :note-50: (according to NIG G/X only exists as :note-10: , those are correctly identified as JCT)
Still 1 to go.

Edit 2:

And I think I got it, a J007/S060 :note-10: is indicated by NIG as WD but in EBTST it shows up as a JCT. (so far my only J/S :note-10: note)

The explanation for this difference is that NIG has an outdated list of printer/plate number/country combinations that are Trichet. Anything not on this list is by default seen as Duisenberg. NIG's last update was November 2010, so anything discovered after that is seen as Duisenberg.

In short: do not use NIG to figure out how your note/signature distribution is.

jrnsndrs: I think you have correctly identified those notes.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

I know about the outdated list of NIG, I just wanted to find out which notes exactly it were. The only one I can't explain is the :flag-it: :note-10:

EBTST says it's a Trichet (see here)

NIG sayt it's a Duisenberg:

Stupid me! I had that one already bookmarked but didn't think about it. Image

Anyway, EBTST has it right.

I've received a (probably bogus) hack threat regarding EBTST (publicly visible here (in spanish)) so I had to increase the priority of my plans to encrypt the database. This was a significant change so I left it for some days in the development version waiting to see if someone was able to find any errors (a big thank you to the people using the dev version!). It seems to be stable, so I've just rolled it into the main version. Please note: there's nothing encrypted as I write this, but as soon as you upload new CSV files, your databases will be encrypted.

Additional changes are:
  • Some planned internal changes in the bad notes management.
  • Enhanced the BBCode output. Now it's easier to find a specific section.
  • Fixed the next hit date calculation ( :arrow: Crazy Bob). It used to add X days to the second hit date instead of the last one, so people whose last hit was a triple or beyond could see the error.
  • Added slovenian translation. That stuff about the dual grammatical number is interesting…
  • A user managed to receive some internal server errors by uploading a broken hits CSV (specifically, a truncated file). Improved the detection of bad hit CSV files.
  • Notes per month/year are now reverse sorted ( :arrow: tralla).
Given that the communication between browser and server is encrypted with SSL, there's a pretty high level of safety regarding your data. The only point where there are serial numbers in plain text is during the import procedure, where the server reads the CSV file you just uploaded and builds your database. After that, the file is removed and there's no way to recover it*.

Yippo: thanks for your comments! I've written them down for future evaluation.

tralla: regarding the table of contents, I have other plans (expandable/collapsable sections) so a ToC wouldn't be necessary.

gabonik: I don't understand what you mean with "meno anonima", could you please elaborate?

Montgomery Burns: "My city" under "Hit locations" is not where you're living, but the city where you entered that hit note. You can move but that doesn't change the fact that you entered notes in the former place ;).

Regarding plates and signatures, they are indeed (periodically, manually) pulled from g.s.51's page.

[*] Technical info: it seems that my VPS provider doesn't allow the root user to perform low-level reads on the disk device, so not even a root compromise would allow the bad guys to recover the temporary unencrypted files.[/size]
