Yeah. I am sure.
Where on Earth were you when they released their first hit, singing "Taivaat lyö tulta" etc.

For the 4th year running the Netherlands is not present at the main event.

Lets call it the Eastvision Song Contest!

So what, let some singer or band from Eastern Europe win again. Will have hardly any influence on what music is actually "consumed" by people.

The only problem I have with this non-event is that the AV media fee I have to pay is partly used by the ARD (a German network) to finance it. Sure, they get something back in return - performers from Germany will, like those from France, Spain and the UK, automatically be in the final, as these four are the main sponsors.

for Germany you get the best bet rates
if you bet 1 euro on Germany, and Germany wins, you get 386 euros back
that could mean we are the worst, or just that no-one bets on us

I'm sorry but the girls presenting German can't really sing. It just sounds awful.

These girls, the No Angels, are our most successful girl band ever, and they have had some great songs. But it is true - I was a bit disappointed. The last "pepper" was definitely missing on stage. They can do better.

German sang out of tune

Post by Jes »

I've just heard the German song in television, (as the contest is running just now)... The singer has sung out of tune so much!! 8O :x

She was over 1/4 tone out!!

Whom do I give my televote? Until now, after Ukraine, no performer was really convincing me.

Let's wait for the rest, and the speed repeat.

4th year already? That's really a pity. And yes, this year East Europe seems to be particularly dominant, indeed. But quantity is not always quality.

Well, maybe the Swedish contribution may get my vote. Now Azerbeidshan is running - what a b*llsh*t.
