Maybe we could decide somewhen which train (at which time) we'll take, so that I can plan better. As I'll stay overnight not in Bologna but near Ferrara, I might have to take another train and meet you in Rimini then.

Yes that's right I went there only for the coins in 2003 and banks told me no coins for circulation starting from 2003, just very very few in 2002, for the rest just log on www.aasfn.sm and ask them to be added to numismatic emission list, you'll receive at home the official bulletin for request.ravestorm wrote:I've never received a San Marino coin as change (and i live quite close to that country) in Italy nor in San Marino.klapotec wrote:I think 20ct and larger are in circulation, but probably not in measurable quantities.GNUGNU wrote:As much as I know there aren't San Marino coins in normal circulation.![]()
As far as i know someone in 2002 found some coins in circulation but now they're disapperead, imho San Marino mints its coins only for collectors
I waited from 2002 till end of 2007 to be in that list and in 2008 I got both ordinary serie (40€ as official cost!) and the 2€CC 08 (11€ as official cost)

Regarding small countries, only Monaco is issuing ordinary circulating coins, but even if I'm quite close, I knew just very few that in 2002 got some circulating coins... since that time nothing more.... (my cousin got 1€ on 03/01/2002 as change at motorway toll....

I collect and swap 2€ CC, PM for swap!!!!

Re: W-EBTM09: Post-meeting trip: San Marino
well, according to the link in the first post by Ravestorm, the buses are at
8.00, 9.45, 10.45 and 12.00 and they return back at
15.00, 17.00 and 18.30
I suggest we get at least the 9.45 or 10.45 one. I do not know if we make it on time to leave Bologna 08:20, arriving in Rimini at 09:34.

Re: W-EBTM09: Post-meeting trip: San Marino
I think the 8:20 or 9:45-solution is the best - the more time in San Marino, the more time to exchange notes
. Or what about a one-hour-stay in Rimini, in the morning or in the evening? (just if someone cares about the dot..)

Re: W-EBTM09: Post-meeting trip: San Marino
Is someone taking care of organising this? I have no time...

Re: W-EBTM09: Post-meeting trip: San Marino
What about this?
Bologna 8:38 (R-train) --> Rimini 10:05
Ferrara 8:17 (R-train) --> Rimini 10:36 (though I think I'm the only one staying in Ferrara - let's hope the trains in Italy haven't as much delay as the mail
)
Bus 10:47 departing at the station --> 11:30 San Marino
(next bus: 12:00)
San Marino 15:00 --> Rimini 15:43
San Marino 17:00 --> Rimini 17:43
Rimini 15:55 / 16:42 - Bologna 17:22 / 18:22 (there are also EuroStar Trains, but I didn't put them in the list as you have to reserve them in advance)
Rimini 17:55 - Bologna 19:22
or
Rimini 16:15 - Ferrara 18:49
Rimini 17:55 - Ferrara 20:28 (with change in Bologna)
Personally, I think I'll take the earlier bus/train back (so that someone can take me off at Ferrara train station after work), of course the others can stay longer. For buying tickets, they should cost 7,80 one-way (bus additionally). About meeting point / buying tickets in Bologna, please discuss that without me, as I won't be involved.
