Well, the original plan was to take out 5x20, provided that the machine gives me a chance to choose. I aim as near 100 euros as possible; if I get 2x50 on my 1st try, I guess I'll have to make a second transaction, 3x20 (or 3x10 if there are any 10s). Gee, this is getting more complicated than I thought. Let's just hope that I don't miss my flight due to this experiment... playing with an ATM

By the way, any suggestions for the 1st prize, if somebody hits the jackpot and guesses all of them correctly? And please don't say a 500-euro-note from Annie...

Ha-ha... this is a two-stage competition: first you have to guess all the national codes correctly, then there's a second round where at least 70 % of the numbers of each note have to be correct. THEN we'll discuss the prize money.

And tomorrow is the big day, unfortunately I'll have access to computer only on Tuesday morning.

And the winner is… AIRIS!

I got 6 bills (100 euros), and three of them were German plus three Italian. Airis had predicted 3S+1P+1X, so he got 4 out of 6 correct. Congratulations!

Almost every month. However, this was the first time I noticed the euro-distributing ATM. And I just took a look at the registered Swedish notes here in EBT and realised that somebody else had done the same thing. He had got German and Finnish notes. I was really surprised as well that there weren't any Finnish notes in my batch but Italian ones. But hey, I told you to take a WILD guess...

I forgot to guess, but I would have said finnish and german...

What do people say in Sweden about the euro and the referendum of september? Do you feel the Yes will win?

Well, the impression that I have at the moment is that it's a close race, could go either way, and a lot depends on the world/Europe affairs of the very near future. My Swedish contacts are mainly young people who travel a lot and it's obvious they'd like to start using euros as soon as possible. Also my niece and nephew are waiting anxiously: no more paying commission at the bank for the amount of euros which they manage to rip off Auntie Annie.
