I feel sorry for them. Not being able to get a decent hobby, the just are out here to ruin somebody else his fun :(
We should write a script so serialists can still enter notes, their amount of notes gets up, but their notes aren't added to the database.
So they are waisting their time without their notice

My memory says that when I registered at EBT I was user number 11434. Now suddenly I have become user number 11433. How is that possible? Is it because you have blocked this user: __/-^-\__ ? Or don't I remember it very well?

if it's true what you're saying it would be a real bad thing!

In the referer-link, which you can put on other websites, the id-number is used to track who you are.

And since not all the links on the internet will change, if a modification is made on ebt, all the referers would end up with someone else!

If you go to this topic: http://forum.eurobilltracker.eu/viewtop ... 6543#26543, you can see in my second post there that I was actually user number 11434.

Now as I click on About this site there is standing this:

You registered on 2003-05-29 and were number 11433 to do so

I have personally removed some users who have explicitly requested so, usually because they have accidentally created duplicate accounts when the couldn't remember the email address they signed in with. This may change the number that is displayed as "You registered on 2003-05-29 and were number 11433 to do so", but that number isn't the referer number you should use anyway.

The correct (and constant) user id number can be found from the How to help section. This number hasn't changed for you or for anyone else.

Let's put things into perspective, although it's a bit off-topic.

It's so nice to have this opportunity to "spy" other people's hits. I wanted to see how other users around me were doing hitwise, so I listed all the people who either had 100 notes more or 100 notes less than what I have(yesterday's situation, 18.9.).

LESS: 10 people - 3 hitless, 4 x 1 hit, 1 x 2 hits, 2 x 3 hits.
MORE (1351-1451 notes): 18 people - 8 hitless, 4 x 1 hit, 1 x 2 hits, 4 x 3 hits, 1 x 5 hits

Covered international rankings 137–166, total: 29 persons, 12 (41,4 %) hitless, 17 (58,6 %) with at least one hit.

So, mathematically it's not so bad. (See, I'm trying to stay positive.)

Yep, that is correct.
My second hit was from a serialist, and was only removed after a couple of weeks. At first I was really glad I got hit, but when I saw which note it was, I was sure it was a serialist.
I entered that same note that day, and even had it still in my possesion.
When I looked at his other notes, it became clear soon he was just "serialisting".

"Please, block user __/-^-\__ !!"

He's active again... so his account is not longer blocked? So this is a honest user? Or...??

What's the story with him now?
