that's a very interesting, but very strange, generator. It doesn't matter what you enter as long as the entered names contain the same letters. Capital letters are not distinguished, and all ,.-;:_ count as spaces. So androl gets the same result as Roland or Arnold.
Notice that the result may depend on what you entered previously. That happens when you enter only spaces. For every number of spaces or .,:_ a different result will come. But the list of results depends on the last real name you entered. An empty string will always be Conrad Smurf.

I have it:

there are 90 different smurfs.
Replace all letters in your name with their position in the alphabet (a->1 z->26), add all numbers. If it's over 90, subtract 90. That's the smurf you get.
If you use other characters than letters, the letter before the other character is repeated. So "bla bla" is the same as "blaabla" and "B3n|ght3d" is the same as "bbnnghttd".
If you only enter other characters, then the last entered letter in your previous name will be used.
