Last week some people here in Germany got really angry, when the Bundesbank announced that Euro bills don't resist washing at temperatures of 60°C or more.
So we have one more reason to save energy and use detergents which work at lower temperatures.

I found a counterfeit of very good quality once here they were 5 200 euro bills from france and all had a nicely produced hologram, register, colour shifting ink.The UV light and the absence of a watermark gave it away.

The man was arrested and the notes were handed over to police. European or Canadian Police?

Maybe you can try that. Was it a correct number? Did he spent that fake note again? Maybe someone else will receive it

the note was destroyed, but I guess that there are a few more notes in circulation with the exact same number...

and also the "good" note, that was used to make the fake ones...
I think I'm going to enter it, and write in comment that is a fake note..

it was a very bad forgery.. probably just a color copy.. no water mark.. bad paper, and the holographic band was made with one of those silver pens, now very used for xmas.... it's difficult to exp'lain this in english without going to the dictionary...

yes he did

, he owns a shop, and he didn't know who gave the note to him... so he simply lost the note, 50euro.
