Do you like it in canada?, are you starting to feal at home there already?
It must be quite an culture shock moving from the warm and beautifull Paris to the cold Montreal.
Hello!

I feel now like at home. Some things are very different. It's very long to tell, especially in english.
The winter is particularly new for me... -17° this afternoon... -25° with thw wind which come directly from the North Pole.

The culture is close, because I still live in French. But the Quebecans are not french. They are french speaking north americans.

I will be glad when I come back to France, in a couple weeks. :)

keep in touch here!

Can you tell us what umbrella is in Canadien ?
You mean Québécois? ;-)

I don't need any umbrella. I just need enough warm clothes to fight the cold winter! :-)

It's all so relative. Paris sure is warm if compared to Montreal or Finland.
btw, Olivier, are you a Montreal Canadiens fan already?
I have always been a huge fan of Quebec and Canada. I don't know why and since when. I quickly made a few very good friends here. I have known them now for 6 years. I made a trip here each year, in winter and summer. My canadien friends also visited me in Paris.

I have no place enough to tell you how the life here is wonferfull. I really enjoy the size of Montreal: 4 millions of inhabitants but on an island of 13km/52km... There is enough place for everyone!

If you make a trip in other parts of Quebec, it's just fantastic how beautifull ther nature is! Last year, I have made a trip on a "traineau à chiens" (dogs treineau?), and enjoyed skying.
This year, for my coming birthday, I may walk with raquettes in the mountains, with friends...

The people are friendly, polite, open minded...

For the moment, I really feel well here!

CU

but don't stop travelling around the world.. so much to see.. so much to live.. so few time.. so few euros... but the will, it's all that's really necessary
Oh, don't worry for that! I keep the travel virus in my blood!
In the coming years, I may not travel out of Canada, but it's the second largest country in the world, after Russia. I have plenty to visit!

My schedule of friends visiting Montreal has been opened. My brother might come for next springtime. :-)
Some other friends in june...

For the moment, I only DREAM of french foie gras, delicious french wines and cheeses!!!!
Mom, I come back! Dad, open the bottles!!

Thank you! :-)

I am back since last week. It's very sunny here, but the wind comes directly from the Pole. We are all freezing!! Is it the same in Ontario?

I have one bill in my wallet. I'll register it soon. I keep it like the last chocolate in the box... :-)

For Where's Willy... I don't play on it. I prefer EBT, its design, stats and moreover its forum! :-)

I hope your boss doesn't know this. If he will see how much you write on the forum he might reconsider your promotion. :?
