Nja, I'm just very strict to myself about them and like using the correct ones 8) There are quite a few of them in Espoo too, anyway. I am from 02940 myself (Pihlajarinne).

al right I will be a good adapting foreigner :P, so I will change it (http://nl.eurobilltracker.eu/notes/?id=84870289" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) Almost all of my 150 dutch notes are now spent somewhere in espoo/helsinki. Let's go find my notes:) you'll like them. Lot's of them are international hits already so let's go for that triple international hit.

terveiset!

Thanks Nomen Nescio for finding my note from Spain in Finland 8O :D .
I've received the note at this bank in Trujillo; the closest one to our hotel but a hard one to get small notes from:

Thanks to Eliezer for sending this bill in the right direction :D
A very rare hit, my second one with a non-euro country.

Next saturday we'll be visiting Helsinki for the first time! :D
We will try to drop as many notes from :flag-at: as possible and hope for our first hit with :flag-fi: .

One question to all experts: Is it possible to exchange notes on machines (from € to € without charges) in Helsinki?

No automates exist for changing notes to notes. Next to coin game machines there are machines for changing banknotes to coins, though. And if you are in one of the special places for playing those games, there will also be a worker who will change the coins you have gotten from the games into banknotes if you ask.

What are you planning to do in Helsinki?

Thanks for your quick answer.
Our plans so far (arriving on Saturday, leaving on Tuesday):
We want to get an impression of the city: walking around in the city, sight seeing, drinking coffee, tracking notes, meet other trackers(?), ...
And we want to make a trip to Tallin.

Actually there is one machine where you can change :note-100: and :note-50: to smaller notes in http://www.grandcasinohelsinki.fi/home/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They have a dressing code and entrance fee though. It's been a year since my last visit so I can't guarantee the machine is still there.

You can see the timetables of all ship companies between Helsinki and Tallinn in http://www.viroweb.com/linkit/aikataulut.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . Unfortunately they are only in Finnish, but the information is quite clear anyway.
The weekdays MA-SU are Monday-Sunday.
"ei" means "not"
"asti" means "until".
