And especially if people don't respect the rules and think they have papal infallibility like LITO and insult italian people isn't it?jrnsndrs wrote:And never engage in a heated discussion, especially not if the people involved have a heated temper by nature and think they have Papal Infallibility.LITO wrote: Better not argue with those obstinate Italians , (...)

Geez... Is it not easier to read his/her profile:
Hi, i try to spend only 5€-Bills fresh from the Munich Central Bank. Interesting countries where I spend bills: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Peru, India, Sri Lanka, Marroko, Egypt, Malaysia, Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Tunisia, Cambodia, Singapore, Dubai

Re: Suspicious notes and users
Nowadays, many Italians are as catholic as Belgians: only in name. And I don't consider that a bad thing
But this is really off topic.

Re: Suspicious notes and users
So if I understand correctly, tram-love enters the notes where they are spent, in stead of their origin. Hmm, I still don't see a capital offense, but maybe, we should try to explain the game to him...sen-chuan wrote:Geez... Is it not easier to read his/her profile:

Ok perfect.
Only one problem. Mr. tram-love isn't very active on the forum. I sent a private message but who knows when he will read it.

Isn't a capital offense, but now in this comunity what is considered capital offense? Nothing?groentje wrote:Hmm, I still don't see a capital offense, but maybe, we should try to explain the game to him...

Re: Suspicious notes and users
Many participants don't take this game as serious as we do. Good for them they still have a life
The only capital offence for me is a troll, who deliberately tries to fool the system.

I don't take EBT as a way of life but I try to always observe all the rules.
When I started in 2010 I have read all the FAQs
So for me every capital offence (which deserves a punishment even just a moderate hit) is any violation of the rules.

Just a couple of random thoughts:
If you happen to live in the north pole, inserting notes there is not location faking. Heck, the notes are there. However, we can't ignore the fact that the resulting hits are somewhat contrived.
) is their community. If people begin behaving that way, this forum will become a piece of crap, just like (almost) any other one in the internet.
In my humble opinion, when reporting fake notes, giving details it's in the interest of everyone, instead of just copy-pasting a link and hitting "Submit". I didn't see a problem either, because I didn't know where to look and given that I'm not a cleaning girl, I didn't want to search for the problem. Of course, as soon as you pointed out the specific issue it became clear to me. You could have avoided the resulting argument (and waste of time) if you highlighted the specific error from the start.Dominic38 wrote:Are you kidding me? The answers is yes of course!

FAIL. One of the things I like about EBT (besides actual trackingLITO wrote:Better not argue with those obstinate Italians
Less than 4 months after I first knew about EBT I visited the Netherlands. I already knew that rule but for some reason I forgot about it (probably because it had been never an issue for me), and my dot-hunting trip around the country was partly rendered useless when the notes were corrected. I'm fine with that, the rules are the rules and it's my fault if I forget them, but of course I would feel angry if not all users were given the same treatment.groentje wrote:So if I understand correctly, tram-love enters the notes where they are spent, in stead of their origin. Re: Suspicious notes and users
the false locations are a new game for some people !!
look at the last 4 registrations: https://fr.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?c ... ry=Albania" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
.... and in other countries also !!!
as long as there is no hit, it's half a problem (although it doesn't look serious for somebody discovering ebt and not reading the forum
) but when ther is a hit with one of those bills, it looks even more unserious !!

I'm sorry but it doesn't take much effort to find the problem. In my very first post I explained the problem.dserrano5 wrote:Just a couple of random thoughts:because I didn't know where to look and given that I'm not a cleaning girl, I didn't want to search for the problem.Dominic38 wrote:Are you kidding me? Not so. I always report it even in the absence of the hit. But when I'm not sure what I say doesn't fit firmly.an-148 wrote:as long as there is no hit, it's half a problem (although it doesn't look serious for somebody discovering ebt and not reading the forum) but when ther is a hit with one of those bills, it looks even more unserious !!
