I wonder where you read that?

As for the rest of your points, they are heard and considered. I guess you can't please everyone...

well, one goal for a (relatively major) future redesign should be the ability to choose one of several provided styles (via CSS) including providing your own - that way, everyone could be pleased ;)

[aside]and, no, until the start of my university course in late September I will not get involved in the nitty-gritty development and design details; but contrary to my expectations as I will have less time to actually track bills from then on I will have more time to help with development[/aside]

Ah yes. Seems the IE of all browsers is acting up again :-) I disabled the warning for IE for the moment.

I have two problems with the new colour scheme:

If there's a map (on this page for example) there is very little contrast between the blue of the sea and the background colour.
Also (I think it has been mentioned before) the contrast between the dark and light backgrounds (2 notes dark, 2 light) is also a bit low.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

Yes, I've also noticed that, but more recently than most people (and don't like it too).

What contrast?

Is there a contrast? I thought it was removed with the new colour scheme?

At the moment, it's possible to select your hits by:
- international

- all
Could "national" be added to I can have a list of all my Germany-Germany or Spain-Spain hits for example?

In addition I see issues with the main layout itself (tables, boxes, little accents, no semantic structure) and the structure and menu (overloaded, unintuitive). There will be changes in the future addressing these issues.

If you want to help, feel free to post suggestions, samples, templates or ideas...
I thought a bit about the overloaded navigation.
I started with the city profile, here is my screenshot. the changes can be done on other sites/profiles too.
my idea is to remove the links from the right top.
the new clickable text is the number where my arrows point to.
The "Information"-Link can be removed. When I am loged out, there is NO information.
And when I am loged in, there is many text with less information.
The only interesting thing is the connection, and that can be seen on the profile already.

because there is only one link in the top navigation, the navigation can be removed completely.

I would be very interested in a histogram statistic for shortcodes. So that you can see over time how often certain shortcodes were entered. Of course new shortcodes only show up after a certain date, but I think it would be interesting to see how the use of old shortcodes diminishes over time.

I'll show two examples, for :note-5: G001 and R005 notes in my collection. The percentage is the percentage of € :note-5: notes that were G001 or R005 in that month.
As you can see: G001 was very much present up to 2006 (the spike in january 2006 is when I had two batches of UNC G001) and the R005 notes only came after the summer 2007 (here also two batches of UNC notes from ATMs while visiting Berlin for the SETBM07).

The stats have to be split per note value. I've received R005 notes as early as the 12th note, but that was a :note-50:, and the graph would look much less interesting if I included those.

Can such a statistic be made? I would make it if I had the statisical data for it.
