The correct postal code and city name for Quinta do Paraíso is
8400-558 and
Mato Serrão.
If you want to find other postal codes / city names you can ask here, in this topic, and someone will help you.
And don't forget to find one of my notes, at least...

OK. But Mato Serrão is for Quinta do Paraíso. There are other small cities arround...

You should use the 7 digit post code, and it is the correct one.
8400-558
The town is more tricky. The resort, or at least a part of it seems to be in "Mato Serrão", just outside "Carvoeiro". However, the reception and parking lot may be still in Carvoeiro.
Given the fact that it is a resort, and not the town centre, I would use "Carvoeiro" for simplicity sake, and also because that is what a "regular" EBT user would use. "Mato Serrão" with the same postcode could even be a more "rigorous" choice, however farfetched, and most EBT users would not adopt it.

Thanks, Carlos. I will check it on site tomorrow and will decide what to do.
For the record: I will bring
this
note. Happy tracking

If you received the bill inside the resort grounds, to be rigorous you should use "Mato Serrão" as Castanhola suggested. [North-West of Carvoeiro (town centre)].
That will be clearly one of the most looked for bills in the near future in Portugal, it would become a wonderful triple!

I have asked it here at the reception. The resort is Mato, so are the restaurants and bars. Time to look for an ATM in Carvoeiro today: all " Dutch" euro's are almost gone

You can check the limits here:

Use the settings as in the following image.

Marco, please use "Mato Serrão" if the bar and market are inside the complex, or "Carvoeiro" if they are located outside the complex and in the town.
"Praia do Carvoeiro" would not be a valid town name.

It's in fact Ponta (Point / Headland) and not Ponte (Bridge).
The city is
Lagos, the postal code is
8600-544, which is good for the lighthouse (Farol) the café "Bar Sol Nascente" and every shop or stand in the area.

Thanks! We have visited the bar indeed...

That site is not official. In spite of that, that information coincides with the official one from CTT's
Postal Code Search page. Although I hadn't ever seen this kind of error on the official site, it seems that Portugal's Post Office has indeed screwed up with the door number. I was unable to understand why. There is no Nicola offices at number 33, nor has ever been as far as I can recall. So, I will keep on using that special postal code for Nicola café on the other side of the street (number 10/12).
Vasco da Gama Shopping Center has the postal code
1990-206.
These are all correct. There is no separate postal code for Aeroporto metro station, so that is indeed to be the best one to use.
