Why should this be a mistake by the hitpartner? In Germany the same serialnumber could exist for , , and . Sometimes it is possible to recognize the value in combination with the shortcode!

But in this case it is - like he wrote himself - just an error of jrnsndrs by entering the wrong denomination.

I didn't get to chose, either, but the ATM at München Flughafen gave different notes when asked for 100 euro, 4(?) years back. I don't remember if it had or if it started with .

have a look for branches of commerzbank. i don’t know munich myself, but here in leipzig at least 3 out of 5 commerzbank branches have atms that offer you individual choice of value (one having as lowest chioce, two offering ). they have a limit of 98 notes per transaction, so you can get a maximum of € 490 in

The Commerzbank "individual choice" isn't available by using cards from outside Germany (or by using credit cards).

Look for ATMs "Münchner Bank" in Munich.
The branch near Stiglmaierplatz (Nymphenburger Str.4) is giving you 100 x 5 EUR per transaction, when you use the Aus-/Einzahlungsautomat

I remember that once in Füssen I was able to choose what kind of note I wanted but I never had this opportunity again in Munich.

Hausbank was a good tip but gives only brand new bills and Münchner Bank near Löwenbrau had unfortunatelly only 13 when I was there.
If you have any other ATM with it will be welcome for next time in Munich.
