Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles

any opinions (perhaps from our German friends) if these two, Spandau and Berlin, should be merged?

i am always for merging profiles like these, because i think town and muncipalities should have one profile

There can be no doubt that Spandau is part of Berlin. It lost it's independence in 1920 with the formation of Gross-Berlin, similiar to seven other formerly independent cities like Schoeneberg or Charlottenburg. I don't think that one seriously can speak here of some sort of "municipality" issue, at least not in the sense of the "Assemissen or whatever" style.

The "town" would be rather small then (see wikipedia-link)
(Though there is a running gag among the Spandauer saying that they go to Berlin (and all others that claim to leave Berlin when they go to Spandau) which might have inspired this entry in the first place...)

Actually, in the case of Bornheim, we are talking about distinct villages that may be several kilometers apart which were "integrated" into Bornheim during the German Gebietsreform in 1976.

I could point out several such examples where it does make sense to specify the "town district". In some cases, it is even vital if you want to get a letter to the right location because one street name may be found in more than one village addressed by the same town name and postcode.

In this vain, it might even make sense to set up distinct coordinates for Bornheim-Merten and Bornheim-Roisdorf (and others).

This user has inserted some notes with wrong zip code (34100 instead of 44100) so the system has created a new city profile of Ferrara:

Hi, I love doing dothunting and I usually get notes in villages lost in strange places of Spain, specially dots where nobody has entered a note before.
I would like to know how I could be one of the people that enter the location of the villages, if possible, to help with the progess of EBT.
And I say it because, for example, I entered a note the 2 November, I say it in the spanish forum and I´m still waiting.

I know there are places called Azóia, but that one in particular has the same dot as Lisboa, so, it that Azóia isn´t Santa Iria da Azóia, the zip code is incorrect. (But sinse there is a doubt it bay be better to leave that one like it is.)

And Lajes field does not exist, the dot is in azores, but I couldn't "see" the island. I'll look more carefully.

I've entered some notes (example) for Berlin zipcode 14129 (which is Nikolassee, southwest Berlin) and the note is being placed dead center in Berlin (Pariser Platz).
This is of course incorrect.

I'm also not entirely sure how to enter notes in Berlin. I first entered it as Berlin-Nikolassee, but it didn't get a location, so I changed it to Berlin. But because Berlin consists of so many parts and regions, do we just enter Berlin, or only the area name (Nikolassee, Spandau, I have a note there) or what?

In my opinion you should enter your notes in "Berlin" like most other users do.
