Hi all,

I'm planning to visit Valencia in summer, however there seems to be a difficult trip as there are no direct flights to valencia.

Can anyone give me an advice whether is it best to get the train from Girona to barca and from Barca to Valencia or get a train from Girona to barca and flight to valencia through Madrid?

Hi,

You have only one direct train between girona and Valencia, but you have several between Barcelona and Valencia. You can search it in Renfe

And I'm sure you have direct flights between barcelona and valencia without needind to go via Madrid <--- that's not correct, flights are via Palma de Mallorca. So best option is via RENFE (train)

One question, which is your arrival airport? Girona? wouldn't it better to arrive to Barcelona?

The only flights from Malta to Spain are to Girona, by Ryanair. We've looked at different options.

Now I think, Rome and clickair will solve the problem for us. Malta - Rome - Valencia and back.

yes I had to choose similar option for to go to Bologna, direct flight to Milano and train to Bolonga. We had direct flights but via Milano are cheapper...
