Unfortunately they hadn't, but I did get some 30 €5, so I'm still happy. Some have been exchanged already, others (including one hit from Belgium) will follow. Now let's see if I can get some notes on the other side of the Tejo.
Tomorrow, I'll be going to Covilha and or Castelo Branco. Which is worth it most? I'll pass in Guarda too, but with 15' between bus and train, I don't have much time, there. I do hope it's enough, or won't it be enough?
It's only a glimpse I'll catch, unfortunately, I'll be leaving to Madrid, either from Entroncamento or Pombal station...

I would choose Covilhã without much hesitation. Check Lonely Planet's well done
to-do list.

Seems unlikely but good luck. The bus terminal and train station are more than 3km apart. If the bus arrives on time and you catch a cab, you might be lucky.

Hmm, that's bad luck. I can always return by train the same way I came, but I would have prefered the other way... I only have my phone (Windows Phone, to add to the difficulties) to check on things... Thanks, anyway! Now in Almada, it's a beautiful sight of Lisbon!

If you can, do not miss the view from Cristo Rei. The statue itself is terrible, the view is quite amazing though.

Only here for a couple of hours, including diner. I had a drink first at the elevator, now in a local restaurant.

Sorry for posting this but if any Portugese user who also manages the city profiles reads it, then I reached the right person(s).
Maybe I have caused some strange city entries. This is the result of my parent's holidays on Madeira last week. They wrote down all the notes they received. Bus as the Portugese post code system is a bit unfamilar to me (friendly for: I don't have a clue how it works and what it needs) I might have used wrong post code/place combinations.
I fear, that I should have used Funchal instead of the name I
used (a quarter/suburb or something like this).....
Apart from that and being a bit
unsuccesful there were some nice notes in between

.
And my parents liked their holidays which is the most important part

.
My apologies for a post which does not really say anything specific but I felt the urge to share it with other EBTers

.

Thank you for the warning.

Send me the combinations you are not sure and I can help you.

Yes, in this case you must use Funchal (9060-054).
Coordinates for this postal code: 32.647798, -16.875982

Do you refer to
this one or to
this one?
Are you any of my hit partners? I'm afraid to not completely understand your message.

I don't know. I do not have the note with me anymore.
Normally I annotate in the comment field any marks or damage I found in the note.
Maybe the mark was too little or maybe I have not repaired.

You can always try to use
Google Translate.
