I think it was a few weeks ago when I spent an unregistered euro note last time. Usually I write the number to my calendar when access to Internet is not available. Usually I write also the source of the note to the 'comments' section but sometimes (like in Saturday and Sunday morning) I have no clue where I've got the few notes from which I can find from my pockets...

The ZIP code and name of the town can be also wrong as I travel a lot and sometimes I don't know which part of the country I have got my notes from.

About spending untracked notes:

Yesterday someone gave me two numbers of euronotes (a German E. 10 and a French E. 10)

I wrote the numbers one a pice of paper, but I lost it

She spend both of the notes.

I've "lost" two notes. First one was in Suomenlinna when I was in a hurry and money came and went with a huge speed.
The other one was when I used the advanced note entering form for the first time. It doesn't relly work too well with Opera. In fact it doesn't work at all. Luckily I spent onöly one of those notes I thought I had entered. When I came back entering more notes, I noticed that there were some notes missing from the EBT database. So, I was able to "rescue" all but one of those notes.

BTW, the wap form doesn't work with DNA operator. I can connect to the site, but when I try submitting the note's information, it waits a while and then says "yhdyskäytävä ei vastaa" ("gateway isn't responding"). Always does that.Used to work before Telia kicked me to DNA. Well.. I'll probably change my mobile subscription to something EBT-enabled quite soon.
The people on DNA were as imbesil as they always are. Didn't answer my question about technical wap changes but instead told me things I already knew.. DNA's crap.

Yesterday the EBT nightmare of not being able to get hold of the short code and serial of a bill happened to me. I quickly needed cash so I got a note out of an ATM (actually that was a problem too because the first ATM I got to was not working, so I had to walk a long way to get to another working one).

So I got myself a 50 Euro note with a Z-starting serial. I had nothing to write the short code and serial on me. A few minutes later spent the note. I tried to learn the numbers by hart, but drinking too much tends to play tricks on your memory.

This is news to me, I haven't heard that before. Which phone model do you use? Looking at the logs, at least Nokia 3650 and Nokia 3510i seem to be able to enter notes to EBT with DNA's WAP. Anyone else having problems with WAP?

Yes, that's a bit too familiar error message for me -- basically, if there's any kind of error in the WML code I get that error message, or at least that was the case for Radiolinja. So I'm not completely ruling out the possibility that there's a bug in my code, but I'm surprised that nobody else has experienced the same problem.

I never mark any notes as otherwise the risk of them being taken out of circulation is high. The last note not entered here I have spent was in mid-June. Too late did I see that I had not enough money with me when I went to ... ah, rather not say.

I'm one of those victims of Telia City -> DNA merger. (Okay.. They DID lower the prizer _very_ much. 8c/min from anywhere in Finland to DNA, some 15c/min to Rätinälinja/Särinä. An SMS is 8c) I tried to ask the support for wap configuration and whether I can send messages to France and Iceland or not. They answered that Telia Finland has been bought by DNA. Yes, I knew that. That's why I contacted DNA, not Telia.. But anyway. EBT seems to be the only site that doesn't work. My phone is 5510 v03.42.
EBT WAP worked completely when everything was still completely in Telia's hands. Now no one seems to know what should be done by Telia and what by DNA. And nothing works. Right now. But as it's impossible to get lower calling prices, I'll just stick with this and try EBT WAP every now and then :)

Looks like you're the only one using EBT with that particular phone model. But this is getting offtopic, let's continue here.
