... I have been to Belgium yesterday, but I went to a Fortis, not a KBC (all Belgian F-notes seem to be from that bank). Now I cannot stop wondering if there would have been Maltese notes if I had gone to a KBC.

I managed to contact a person who works at the Central Bank re these notes.

Her answer was that for the time being,they will not be distributed in Malta, therefore anyone we might find will come through circulation.

the problem is only 2 ppl from belgium will be comming to malta and i as being one of they have not found them else i would pool them to malta

When the serial number starts with F0109, it is from Belgium, when it starts with F0036-F0043 it is from Spain, and else it is (yet) unknown.
