I like the swans. I read somewhere that a white swan against the blue sky is the inverse of the Finnish flag.
There were never swans on German money, because in ancient German symbolism the swan was a symbol of deception (a white outside obscures that the bird is black under it).

Hmm, maybe I should turn back to seriosity if you think I hurt someone. I personally mostly try to keep some mental distance to what governmental organizations do for all of us. Often some lone official sits in his dusty office at his desk and designs something (e.g. an official form or a train schedule or a way through a park), what millions of people have to use afterwards. He is eager and honest in his efforts of doing it, no question. But as his education is limited and he's not discussing the thing with someone else it turns out to be a bit weird. Millions of people have to walk in right angles through the park wasting time everyday. Or the connecting train leaves one minute before the other one arrives. Or at a municipal office people have to fill out forms that nobody understands and that are full of typos. This is more or less the same in all countries all over the world as I know from my various travels. And all this is so "sad" that the only way is to laugh about it...
