Maybe you should click on that link before asking… 8)

www.ebt.com is not EuroBillTracker. "EBT", for Americans, means Electronic Benefits Transfer, a system used in the U.S. for issuing government assistance. So that's the ebt in this short address.

If you want to spread the word about EuroBillTracker, always use eurobilltracker.com or eurobilltracker.org — with or without a leading www., as you see fit.

Some other addresses work, but I wouldn't recommend any other for the purpose of spreading the word about our hobby.

Oh God hahaha.. That was a bummer, it went slightly too fast, sorry! Thanks for the correction - you just evaded a potential diplomatic catastrophe with the USA including a Dane.. I'll just use the ".com" version I think. And if I recall correctly, it's best to write it on the backside and somewhere on the white background in order to increase the lifespan of the note?

A diplomatic issue between the USA and Denmark, you say? That would be unheard of.

My feeling is that writing or stampingt anywhere decreases the note's lifespan, with little practical results. Maybe it's a little less conspicuous if it's written or stamped near the border, either on the white (opposite of the © line), or right on the color border (opposite of the tactile strip).

I can tell, Tárrega, that you are not familiar with this thread. :P

My stamp says "eurobt.net", one of a few mirror URL's. Not listed there, in fact, is the the shortest one available: www.ebt.li or simply ebt.li .

I personally feel something ending in .net is more instantly recognizable all over the world as a website, so I stick to that.

Cool! Yeah, I hadn't seen that one coming  But now I'll keep an eye for something related to EBT..

I think I'll either go with the eurobt.net or .com, haven't decided yet :) It feels nice and simple with just the short version, maybe that'll draw just enough attention to get someone interested while still keeping the note circulating. I want to try it, just for the sake of personal interest, if a 100 notes doesn't get me anywhere, I'll just go back to nothing

Careful, though - "eurobt.com" does not exist.
