Problem mit der Bank

Well this story didn't have a happy ending. 
As a first thing today, I went with my girlfriend to the same Volksbank at 8:30. I saw the same cashier was there and I went to tell her the situation. She was a bit annoyed (her attitude wasn't very nice) about me coming there talking about a confusion. She just told me I had given her 640€ (the real amount should have been 740€) and there hadn't been any extra 100€ in their cassa, when they had counted it yesterday evening. We were depressed and the only thing the customer manager (that came to meet us also), could say was "es tut mir leid".
At that point we couldn't think of anything else to do so we left. We then thought things through outside and decided to visit also Deutsche Bank and Sparkasse nearby, both that I had also visited yesterday. Maybe they had there an extra 100€ (maybe the honest mistake was done there, who knows?) in their cassa. No they haven't and nobody haven't told them about any found 100€ note. (I wrote down some serial numbers in both bank and thought I perhaps had forgot a not on the table - a mistake I always try to avoid by double checking I have all my money with me, but that is always possible to happend.) If this had happened, the 100€ was in some other customer's wallet somewhere. There's no way to know for sure.
We were feeling really bad. I repeated yesterday once more in my head and we decided that we would go once more to the Volksbank and talk things completely throught with the customer manager (a very nice young woman). I told him excatly what I had done yesterday. How much I had changed in the two other banks and both how much money (740€, it came again clear to me when I thought it through) I had with me and in what type of notes, when I made the change at Volksbank cashier.
It was so sure I had 740€ with me when I stepped inside Volksbank and only 640€ was changed with me there. So either I had accidentialy forgot one 100€ note on Volksbank table (unlikely) or the cashier had cheated me. Maybe she saw I was a bit confused and tried her luck by suggesting I only had 640€ (instead of the real 740€), which I agreed, while I had no total picture of the situation at that moment (because of huzzle). And she then took the 100€ for herself. MAYBE. But how can you know for sure? We spoke about this possibility with the customer manager. She did say it wouldn't possible, but told us the cashier had worked there for 20 years with good reputation. So it was highly unlikely. We demanded to see the video recordings from the bank (maybe we could see how many notes the cashier counted in her hands, which would be enought information, because I knew excatly what type of notes and how many I had there). But this wasn't possible, since the cameras are only pointed to film the customers, not the employees. Also the desk I wrote some serials on was out of the reach of cameras.
We really felt we had tried everything and there wasn't anything more we or the very helpful customer manager could do. She was nice and gave us two green and fluffy Volksbank frog mascots and made us. It made us feel better. She really cared about our worries and was really nice to us. She promised to count the cassa today herself and send us an email telling everything was ok and there wasn't no extra 100€. A really nice last-thing-to-try from her.
So there's no way of knowing what happened to the 100€. It's in someone's wallet, that's for sure. Perhaps I left it accidentialy somewhere and someone took it or then the cashier cheated me. But one can't know, that's the psoblem. It didn't even help that I had all the note serial numbers on paper, because there's no way of knowing for sure.
So now it seems to be clear that I'm going to loose the 100€. It's a big sum for a student and of course it depresses me. I have seen many times dreams where something happens to me or to my money, while doing this hobby, but nothing has never actually happened. But now it did. I try to pay much more attention in the future and be sure about how much money I handle cashiers and how much they give me back. I also want all the notes to be counted in front of me, so cheating in any way wouldn't be possible. But this is really frustrating. Counting for example 200 fivers by hand takes time and it's the only way if there's no money counting machine around.
So that's my story and this is the end of it. I will continue to use EBT and change money at the banks. And that's because I like EBT so much. But as I from now on, you also be very careful with your money!

nachdem ich schon ein neues Konto bei einer anderen Volksbank eröffnet habe, habe ich heute mein altes Konto bei der Volksbank in Markdorf gekündigt. Die können mich mal, die Tüten. Da war ich heute nach ein, zwei Wochen mal wieder am Schalter und hab ein paar Scheinchen gewechselt, der Angestellte war auch wie immer freundlich, da hat sich noch nie jemand beschwert, dann tappt diese Beraterin vorbei und labert mich gleich wieder an, ich hätte wieder zu oft den Geldautomaten benutzt, und ich solle auch nicht zum Schalter gehen, weil ich da nur die Zeit der Angestellten vergeude. Dabei habe ich im Monat März gerade mal 2800€ Geldabhebeumsatz gehabt, nachdem ich mein Volksbankkonto ziemlich ruhen lassen habe, und auch wie gefordert fast nur die eigenen Geldautomaten genutzt. Jetzt soll ich nicht mal mehr das dürfen. Das Beste: sie erwartet von mir, dass ich mein Konto "so benutze wie andere Leute auch". Ich soll also ein Durchschnittsmensch sein. Da kann sie sich täuschen. -> Vollkündigung! Mit mir diskutieren will sie auch nicht, blockt jede Verständnisfrage ab, macht nur den Eindruck, sie habe keine Kompetenz.

Das verwundert denn doch ein wenig
Wurde hier im Forum nicht schon oft genug geschildert, was Ein- bzw. Auszahlungen (gerade für Wenigverdiener) für Folgeschäden nach sich ziehen können
Tips, wie man dem entgehen kann gab es doch auch schon, und dass dir das nun auch passiert ist, erstaunt (bestimmt nicht nur mich) schon besonders.
Ich las hier irgendwo: Tauschen und Wechseln sei gefahrloser, -das mache ich inzwischen auch, mit wechselndem Erfolg, aber immerhin ohne Probleme- .
Versuche doch einfach mal die Tips die hier gegeben werden in dein zukünftiges Verhalten einzubeziehen
Vielleicht klappt es dann auch mit den Banken
Bitte gebe nun nicht auf (ich mache ja auch wieder weiter) und werde nun nicht etwa ein "Durchschnittsmensch"

noch ganz frisch und sehr naiv, mit dem "Einzahlautomaten" meiner Bank höchst zufrieden (anschließend bar die Summe wieder abheben...)
habe ich doch ´danach` mal mit meiner Filiale Kontakt augenommen. Es hiess, "Nein Ihnen passiert Nichts, ABER übertreiben Sie es nicht"....
Daraufhin habe ich einfach meine Taktik gewechselt...(nachdem ich erstmal ne Woche kein Pincode angucken wollte...)
Und siehe da, was Volker gerade beschrieben hat, geht auch gaaanz toll! Auch, wenn es etwas aufwendiger ist
Das "Entsorgen der Scheinchen" im Einzelhandel kann sogar richtige "Erfüllung" bringen....., wenn mann beim Einkaufen an der Kasse mit leuchtenden Augen empfangen wird: "schön, daß Sie kommen, hamse Fünfer dabei?"

When not being 110% sure of the amount of money, a bank worker can always cheat, that's for sure.
Maybe one tip:
If you have the same cashier again, then you could say for example "600 euros" when you give the money, while it is actually 700 euros...
If she agrees with you, then she might get kinda busted! Because you can prove she's cheating.....
But I don't know how you can prove it then (since there aren't any good cameras or anything else around there, and she can always say she made a mistake only that second time by accident.... By you can always try)

Tja, auch eine Bank hat das Recht, sich die Kunden auszuwählen. Die Kompetenz der guten Frau sollte man so nicht nicht in Frage stellen. War heute nach einiger Zeit mal wieder bei einer Bankfiliale, nach dem sich ein Mitspieler hier schon Sorgen gemacht hat.
Dort holte ich mir ein paar Scheine aus dem GA und schrieb mir an einem Pult dort die Nummern auf. Gegenüber standen 3 Junge Leute und holten aus einem großen Umschlag viele Geldscheine heraus und sortierten die irgendwie, sie entknitterten sie falteten sie auseinander und gackerten dabei ganz lustig. Manche waren zu kleinen Röllchen geformt, andere zu Ziehharmonikas gefaltet. Es waren mehrere tausend Euro, die größte Scheine waren ein paar 50er, die meisten allerdings kleine und ganz kleine, Der Stapel war nachher bestimmt fast 10 cm dick, damit gingen sie alle zum Schalter ließen sie zählen und zahlten sie wohl ein.
Ich stand mit dem Rücken zum Schalter und hörte dabei ein paar Brocken des Gesprächs mit: "Wäre doch interessant zu erfahren wo die später mal landen" "Internet" "Eurobilltracker" "europaweite Gemeinschaft" usw. hat ne Weile gedauert.
Irgendwann war ich auch mit meinen Notizen zu Ende und brachte danach meine üblichen Tauschwünsche vor.
Dabei erzählte mir der Kassierer, dass eben ein paar Leute hier waren, die Ihre Hochzeitsgeschenke abgeliefert hatten, Er hat ihnen von unserem "Verein" erzählt und auf eine interessante Möglichkeit hingewiesen, ihre Hochzeitsgaben zu verfolgen.
Sie wären wohl ganz angetan von der Sache, haben aber das Geld trotzdem unregistriert dort gelassen.

Auch gestern erst von einer weiteren Filiale erfahren, dass in zwei Wochen die Umbauarbeiten beginnen und die Kasse wegfällt. Die Kassiererin würde ich vermissen
Wie ich dann dort tauschen kann wird sich zeigen. Bisher hatte ich eigentlich Glück und es wurde weiterhin umgetauscht...

tja, meine neue bank hat leider eine dieser verfluchten cash recycler. hatte heute ne ausfallquote von 70%. waren meine scheine von letzter woche darunter. also ab sofort da nur one-way.....
immerhin ist der service freundlicher.... (konnte ich grad auf meiner letzten tour austesten. filialen in augsburg, kempten, sulzbach und wiesbaden ausgetestet. stirnrunzeln, aber ohne zu meckern getauscht - wobei mir melissa in der filiale in kempten am besten gefallen hat.....

Bei der HVB in Düsseldorf wurde vorletzte Woche auch die Kasse geschlossen. Und was für Mengen hast Du getauscht? Stirnrunzeln habe ich nur letzten Freitag bei der Deutschen Bank geerntet, als ich EUR 1.090 in Fünfer umgetauscht habe.
Meine Angst, dass die Autokorrektur einmal etwas Obszönes ausspuckt, wichst täglich.

alle oben genannten waren SEB-Filialen. ich hab zwischendurch auch noch spontan bei der Sparkasse in Göppingen getauscht (stand mit dem Womo schon fast in der Fußgängerzone im Halteverbot und die Spaßkasse war näher als die SEB), dann noch verschiedene Volksbanken, wo ich unterwegs immer mein wachsendes Kleingeld entsorgt hab
(ehrlich gesagt weiß ich gar nicht mehr in wievielen banken und wo genau ich war )
