Inspired by avij’s card I’ve revised my old texture a little bit. As it seems we will already go on Jan, 2. so time has run a little bit away from me, if you manage the translation though, I’ll leave EBT-flyers at any possibility during my time in Slovenia.

Daneben bietet die Seite viele interessante Informationen und Statistiken rund um den Euro, z.Bsp. wo Ihr Schein gedruckt wurde und welches Euroland ihn ursprünglich ausgegeben hat (was sich anhand der Nummern entschlüsseln lässt) oder wie sich die Durchmischung der Banknoten in den verschiedenen Ländern entwickelt (was sich wiederum aus den Eingaben der Benutzer ableiten lässt).
Im dazugehöringen Internet-Forum forum.eurobilltracker.eu gibt es darüber hinaus die Möglichkeit, die Vor- und Nachbesitzer seiner Banknoten auch persönlich kennen zu lernen oder sich einfach mit Leuten aus ganz Europa über den Euro, die EU und alles mögliche zu unterhalten.
Schauen Sie doch mal vorbei, wir würden uns sehr freuen!

How is that possible?
Due to it’s serial-number, each banknote is unique. At the website www.eurobilltracker.com (completely available in slovenian) you can register this number and the location where you found the banknote.
If this bill was already registered by a former owner or if a later one will do, the details of the note’s journey can be watched on a virtual map.
The more people join the project, the more often such “hits” occur so we always appreciate new „Fellow-Trackers“.
Personal data will NOT be collected, the site is completely free and has no commercial background, the project is run by volunteers from all over europe just for fun.
Besides, the site offers interesting informations and statistics about the Euro, for example where your bill was printed and which country originaly issued it (which can be decodet by the numbers) or how the difusion developes within the different countries (which can be generated by the note-data of the users).
At the connected Internet-Forum forum.eurobilltracker.eu there is also the possibility to meet the former and later owner of your bills personaly or just to discuss with different people from all over europe about the Euro, the EU and many more.

I hope to visit your country soon, especially now that you are adapting euro! I also hope people working in banks are there willing to change some money, so I can get lots of notes.

Will be easy and affordable to travel directly from Finland to Slovenia, our national carrier Finnair will open a regular flight between Helsinki and Ljubljana which apparently will be quite nicely priced according to the advertising, so I'll ( and probably others ) will drop by in the future
We are getting euro in less than 9 hours. Online banking systems were shut down on Friday at 15:30, ATMs will stop working today at 21:00, POS terminals at 23:00, at 24:00 we are getting €, POS terminals network is supposed to start working at 01:00, ATMs few hours later. Let's wait and see. Our national bank president has said that they(our national bank) have some backup plans if something goes wrong. It would be interesting to see what he had in mind.

Ali poznaš Eurobilltracker projekt?
Vse več in več internetnih uporabnikov iz cele Evrope (trenutno skoraj že 100.000!) spremlja potovanje svojih evro bankovcev po evro območju, včasih pa tudi celo po bolj oddaljenih krajih.
Kako je to mogoče?
Vsak bankovec ima unikatno serijsko številko. Na spletni strani www.eurobilltracker.com (popolnoma prevedena v slovenščino) lahko to številko registriraš, ob tem pa še dodaš lokacijo, kjer si bankovec dobil. Če je bil naš bankovec že registriran v sistemu ali če ga bo prihodnji lastnik registriral, bomo lahko videli podrobnosti o njegovem potovanje na virtualnem zemljevidu.
Več ljudi sodeluje pri projektu, več tako imenovanih "zadetkov" se zgodi. Zaradi tega so vedno dobrodošli novi člani.
Osebni podatki se NE zbirajo, spletna stran je nekomercialnega značaja, celoten projekt vodijo izključno prostovoljci iz cele Evrope.
Poleg tega, spletna stran ponuja zanimive informacije in statistike o evru. Izvemo lahko, kje je bil bankovec natisnjen in katera država ga je izdala (to nam povedo serijske številke) ali kakšna je razpršenost bankovcev med posameznimi državami (to lahko izračunamo iz vnesenih podatkov o bankovcih). Na naslovu forum.eurobilltracker.eu je tudi spletni forum, kjer lahko spoznamo prejšnje in bodoče lastnike naših bankovcev osebno ali pa se zgolj pogovarjamo z ljudmi iz cele Evrope o evru, EU in ostalih aktualnih zadevah.

10 € and 20 € notes... And they're not new... I think they borrowed them from ECB and they will return them in few years... I got one note from Italy and another one from France.

No 50€ notes? Impressing, yet understandable.
The Finnish ATMs only deliver 20€ and 50€ notes, which is a true pain in the ass for the students, who would really need the 10€ notes.
