That is true, the portuguese leage has been monopolised by Benfica, Sporting and Porto. Only Belenenses and Boavista broke this dominion winning the league once each one.pepitopulpito wrote:Maybe the present is not very easy... anyway we're the richest club in the worldMetalAtog wrote:A great and glorious history indeed, but the present is not that good.

And the first final that Real Madrid was against my team![]()

Benfica is the Portuguese brother of Real Madrid (Sporting could be as Atletico de Madrid and Oporto could be similar to Barcelona for us...).
Respecting to the number of leagues and cups, you may agree that Portuguese and Spanish competitions are not comparable, in Portugal there are just three really strong teams, in Spain we have Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico de Madrid, Valencia, Deportivo de la Coruña, Betis...
But in tle last few years the competition has increased and teams like Boavista (won the league once and finished in 2nd twice) and Braga (last year fought for the title almost until the end and this year are 2nd in the league) have improved a lot.
As for Real Madrid being the richest club in the World, I believe that Manchester United is richer than Real.
And Chelsea has all the millions from Roman Abramovich
