Not necessarily. The :flag-at: printer printed :note-10: N/N notes, but on the first day of issue, what did we get at the :flag-at: national bank? Right, :flag-it: S/S - :note-10: :roll:
slabate wrote:My guess is that it's either a :note-5: Z/Z or an old :note-10: T/Z.
Yes, you are right. i checked the serialnumber, it matches to a :note-5: ! Unfortunatly gerrit83 has to change this typo by himself...

Honestly I do not think that these speculations lead anywhere.
The ECB production list is still showing that onle Greece is printing teeners in 2014.
https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/euro/pr ... ex.en.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which is obviously unaccurated.
Now, the printer code and the serial number are coincident, and E banknotes have been printed and reported in France and Portugal.
Wether it is true or not that Bank of Belgium printed teeners (we all have read/heard mistaken news referring to several different issues), they are (or will be) Z. Obviously Z/Z. And E/E bills are printed by Oberthur, in France, not by the National Bank of Belgium, regardless of the place they have been put into circulation, let it be France, Portugal or The Nederlands.

When anybody has a Zbill, just post a picture.

Maybe i am wrong, but I thought that the Europa- :note-10: were printed in 2013. So this year, there won't be a lot of tenners. Look at the line for 5€ notes in 2013. If they were Europa ones, why would there be a gap?? And take a look at the 2012 production of :note-5: : There are exactly the countries which printed Europa- :note-5: .

They aren't just in France and Portugal. Belgium was mentioned and Germany, the Netherlands and Austria have also received E/E :note-10: .

Very possibly you are right, I did not think of that possibility.
But then, it is hard to figure out which of those 2013 teeners were Europas or old series.

Let's see what are the Europateeners that will be shown in the near future.

All :flag-gr: :note-10: I came across so far are Y002 YA17. Straight from the bank counter, on different days. I may go again tomorrow.

Plus I guess it is not very difficult to realize that we need to look at the 2013 production figures to see where all new :note-10: s will come from. The same applies to the :note-5: s in 2012. What you see now for 2014 production figures, will turn up NEXT year. So we now also need to find the new :note-10: s from Cyprus, Malta etc etc..

Based on observation about Europa :note-5: , it is quite reliable now to predict the issuing countries (and guessing the printers a bit), when you notice a surge of production figures compared to previous years. So we can predict DE, ES, FR, IT, AT, PT for new :note-20: and maybe even BE, DE, CY, EE, ES, IT, MT, LU, NL, SI, SK, FI for :note-50: Belgium is unlikely for tenners, unless they printed for someone else, which wasn't very usual so far.

They are X, P or E notes.

GR = Y
ES = V
FR = U
IE = T
IT = S
AT = N
DE = ? (X/P/E)
NL = ? (X/P/E)
CY, EE, MT, LU, SI, SK, FI = ? (X/P/E)

X, P and E printers take part at the "common market"(?) to print notes for DE+NL+...
Z may only print notes for Belgium!

my impression is that the new 10 eur is taking over more rapidly that it did the new 5eur (here in Malta)
probably because the 10eur is available through ATMs - here ATMs do not give 5eur
