Hi!
I'm on holiday for a week in Spain. (Cartagena, Almeria and Torremolinos).
I would like to enter a big amount of bills.
I only don't know how to do it here.
I know that it isn't easy to get some fivers. Maybe at the counter of a bank when you've luck.
I can withdraw some 10'ers but I cant deposit them back because I haven't a ES bank account.
Does some have some tips for me?
Thanks in advance!
Greets from

!

Hallo/Salut, nickvanbael!
I don't know how scheduled is your trip, but you should definitely visit
Murcia (unless you're travelling by boat). Not only because its Cathedral, malls, the
Estrella Levante brewery, or the Fuensanta's sanctuary and its surroundings, but because
we have a Banco de España building where everyone, even non-Spaniards, are allowed to exchange up to 100 notes
or 1000€ in smaller notes per person and day.
Well, and depending on the dates, we could be celebrating our
Fiestas de Primavera, the "Bando de la Huerta" and "Entierro de la Sardina", the week after Easter.

As I still have some spanish pesetas, I would like to exchange them before next year.
Unfortunately, I Don't know which banknotes are exchangeable. On Wikipedia it's written since 1939, but on the Spanish National Bank I found only since 1980.
Thank you for answer

Which banknotes do you have? If they're in good condition and I don't have them in my collection maybe I could change them for a bit more than their face value. Please send me a private message if you're interested.
