Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles

I tried to show why it is not unethical at all, unless those trackers use their maps for any kind of game where being there is important. Even then, whoever runs the game can ban them from entering their rankings, so it's no big deal after all.

Boring to you (and useless to me) doesn't mean everyone should have the same approach to tracking as you or I have. And it certainly doesn't mean it's unethical to have a different approach or different goals.

If you don't agree with me, please explain why.

If you mean the dots in your Dotmap, there's a way around the issue: you just have to uncheck and recheck the Dotmap checkbox on the menu (top right of the map, under "EBT"), every time you want to see your dots.

Two months ago, I went to Hosingen (Luxemburg) and got some bills. I entered them with the postal code 9801.
Till now, I did't get the dot. What can I do?

Please provide a link to any note you registered there, because this way it will much easier for the plotters to spot and fix the problem. And if you have any other dots missing, feel free to provide more links. :)

Now I checked it. Thank you!
I always unchecked the box for the map in eurobilltracker, not the box in google maps.

Pls correct the spelling for:
Mauruciu http://lt.eurobilltracker.com/profile/?city=220790
it shall be Mauručiai

also pls check this:
I'm not sure we need to have Palanga Airport http://lt.eurobilltracker.com/profile/?city=219154
as we have city Palanga http://lt.eurobilltracker.com/profile/?city=72725 and it's rather small city and very small airport to be as separate

1) Mauručiai : it's corrected and the coordinates are added.
2) Palanga Airport : as I can see into their website, this airport is linked to several european countries and, as done for airports like this one, a specific profile is generated into EBT. My opinion : the airport should be separated from the city into EBT. But let's wait other opinions ;)

I don't see any reason for this airport's profile to be separated from the town. But then again, I don't see a reason for separating airports unless they are really at a completely isolated place.

If you search for Palanga on Google Maps, it shows you a whole area going up to the border with Latvia.

Incorrect dot for Bergen :flag-nl:. Correct coordinates should be 52.6808348,4.6946196, and this town is the correct one.

I need some help. Registered 3 notes, like this one https://pt.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=165570744 at Cala San Vincenç, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. I got them at the lounge of the Hoposa Niu Hotel, by the beachfront. I didn't get a dot on the correct area. The zip code is correct, but the dot is here 39.921162,3.055178

Can you fix this please? Thank you.

It's fixed now. The correct name of the place is Cala Sant Vicenç
