Ok, so I have hits... I did not even know!avij wrote: The hit is a hit regardless if you are the person entering the note the second time, or if someone else enters your note the second time.

Emmem, of course you're right - there are several factors which should be taken into account when labeling someone "unlucky". However, I think that we both agree that Donald and Hjkmans qualify in several categories - has been member for a long time, entered plenty of notes, lives in an area with high concentration of trackers, and travels + spends notes in several cities (well, don't know about Hjkmans, but Donald has said that for himself). - I had been thinking of the time span as well, and you created an excellent term for that: exposure days.emmem wrote:If you really want to know the unluckiest user just looking at the number of entered notes is not enough. In fact you have to look at the exposure days of the notes. It's the sum of the time the number of day all the notes have been in the system.
And now I'm wondering what the total exposure days of all registered bills are.
The total amount of exposure days must be astronomical. I made rough calculations using the very first notes I've entered during the six months since I started tracking. I'm a simple girl and like to keep things simple as well, so I took the easy way out and figured that all the notes which I entered in January have been in circulation at least the whole February and ever since, never mind the days of January. All February's notes have certainly been circulating since March 1st and so on.
Using these figures I came to the conclusion that the 781 notes which I entered during the first 6 months had accumulated into 49849 exposure days by the end of June. During July and August these old notes almost doubled that, 781*(31+31)=48422, and that figure does not even contain those hundreds of notes I entered in July, August and so on. Impressive, I must say! Now just imagine a user with thousands of notes and let's say 500 days as a tracker!

Sorry to bother you again Avij, but would you please dig into the database to find out who is Donald's successor in Germany?
And by the way, Wimpy/Belgium seems to have found something even more precious than a hit:

Obviously new people are going to get hits all the time, so it's not practical if I have to dig that data every time. So, here's a new procedure that you can use to find the unluckiest person:
- Go to Statistics->Rankings
- Select the country from the dropdown list
- Locate the person who used to be the unluckiest
- Click on the next user's name and locate this text: Number of interesting hits
- If the number is zero you've found the unluckiest person in that country, otherwise go back to step 4
This option is new, isn't it? A great improvement Avij!! Thank you!avij wrote:So, here's a new procedure that you can use to find the unluckiest person:

Nice tool to see the 'luckyness-rate'.
What do you think of our Nr 3 (fast moving towards Nr 2) friend from Germany ~LeuBs~?
He has more than 25.000 bills, and only 1 hit!!!!!
I admire his perverence to go on with entering bills like this!!!
But as we see often in the hit-list..
Be patient, and on the moment you doesn't hope anymore, you get 1 nice international hit!!
