Yesterday me, Schlauchen and Avij went for a dothunting in the Central Tuscany, and we found rain in Monte San Savino.

A lot of rain, but the dothunting was successful 8)

Hi to all

First of all I would like to thank the organisers for putting up such a great event. It was nice meeting some of you again and some of you for the first time.

We are still in Florence and will be back home tomorrow. Got some new dots in the last 3 days, particularly one from a place where there is no one in the train station and a bar in the vicinity is closed. Luckily some bus driver saved our dothunting plans.

Use cabin luggage only 8)

In Firenze airport I forgot to take everything out of my bag, and I really had everything in it: keys, coins, laptop, toileteries and I walked through the metaldetector with my belt on.
No problem at all.

At CDG, I did it right: got everything out, everything separate. They still wanted to check my bag. Turned out they were interested in my GPS logger.

But it was a good meeting. A little hot, but that's summer. Thanks Claudio, for organizing it.

I came back home last night after trips to San Marino, Monaco and other locations like Saint-Tropez. I drove together with rlaurenssen, HBoZ and pet26644
I enjoyed the meeting and hope to see you all again next year.

I discovered only in the plane back home that I had a deo in my handbag, not in a plastic bag!
And for geocaching reasons I also had a heavy wire with me (a thing you also use in the garden), which would have been hard to explain. But they discovered nothing, so I could have killed some people actually (but I didn't feel like it).

Ah, and at the luggage check in they pretended that my destination, the airport Hof (HOQ) didn't exist.

Only at home I discovered there would have been a geocache at the parking lot of the airport :(

Arrived home yesterday, after over an hour of delay at Pisa Airport.

A storm started round about noon, which lead to a 3 hour airport closure, with some flight delay, and others cancelled. I guess we had the minimum possible inconvenience, as other flights were delayed for over than 9 hours.

All in all, managed to get 8 new dots, approx 250 notes tracked and 500 notes left in the area. I only took 4 notes back home with me.

Storm is the correct word: I had a lot of water on my ground floor, but now it is dry. :?

Firenze was nice and I enjoyed the entire shebang :) Thank you for the arrangements and everything else.

As an adittional bonus, I did picj up my first G/F :note-20: in Frankfurt at the airport :)

Btw, I did pick up 4 meetinghits with different users in the area around Piazza di Duomo in Firenze and did bring those notes with me home, so I'll release them at suitable places in the near future.
