But here's the definitive answer: This note, entered by Laburnum was the 1500000th note. Most probably this doesn't affect the outcome of the guessing contest, but for your information anyway.

Lets go for 2.000.000
it only took us from mid august till mid december to enter 500.000 notes
so if we keep up this pase, note 2.000.000 should be entered mid april

Yesterday, there were 7318 eurobills entered... This is much more than usual..... Did someone withheld bills to enter bill number 1.500.000?

I only entered bills I had entering them manual using the advanced form (no use of excel!).
Yes, I was entering notes that time but that was coincidence.

And now, three weeks later, we are at 1.599.819 bills, so bill 1.600.000 is
going to be entered today!

Compare that with the beginning of EBT, when
it took more than five months to enter the first 100.000 bills (see here)!

EDIT: We've reaced the 1.600.000, i think it is this bill.

just saw that the link was refering to me, indeed i did my best to enter them but it was not especially for this, and you can see on the week lists i have the same average as any week
