Just sent an email to 4 of them telling them what the problem was and asking them what their position is.HNL wrote: Yup, it is true, and in this tempo, it is easy for woombel to stand with 9 other woombelers in the whole top 10 with fake hits and in my opinion fake banknotes: I think only woombel is entering "real" banknotes.
Look at the great new feature ;)

I don’t know if this is possible and doesn’t take too many resources? But what could be done is :
Keep a table of all the users who have bills that have been moderated.
Then, if a new hit is detected and if all the people participating in the hit are in that list, the bill is automatically moderated.
If one user in that hit is not in the list, the hit could be a genuine one. Thus it should appear in the moderated hitlist. If it seems it is not genuine it can always be moderated afterwards.
I know this approach has some flaws. But they have solutions too. I’m not going to discuss them here. It might get a bit too technical.

Stupid me, I didn't enter a bill but just played a bit, that lead me to the stupid idea.avij wrote:micro wrote:And, strange thing: The first character in the printer code field is not treated tolerantly (e.g. try oooo or iiii and you'll get O000 or I111)...
I don't get it.. it is treated tolerantly if you enter oooo and get oh-zero-zero-zero back (though it's invalid, entering oooooo would yield o000o0 which would be technically speaking correct and thus turn green). Or am I missing something again?
I wonder if the CSV export feature could be trimmed so that it is displayed correctly in the browser (with linefeeds). I just don't know how to achieve that. Maybe the HTTP document type can be set to text. I just know that files with the .TXT extension are usually displayed correctly like in http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1766.txt.

Very cool!!!
Just one thing: the year!
I register my note in my PALM. i write value, short code, N° and comment...but not the Year![]()
Never mind ...it a very cool newness![]()
That leads me to the idea that the text-area-processing could be modified to tolerate 2-digit years (change 02 to 2002 by itself). The user has to type fewer keystrokes then.

Can't you just put a cariege return in the csv file after each line?

Thanks, you're right to ask them what their position is. Keep an open discussion with the woombels.EuroBillTracker wrote:Just sent an email to 4 of them telling them what the problem was and asking them what their position is.HNL wrote: Yup, it is true, and in this tempo, it is easy for woombel to stand with 9 other woombelers in the whole top 10 with fake hits and in my opinion fake banknotes: I think only woombel is entering "real" banknotes.

There is a carriage return after each line -- try clicking on the Export to a CSV file and then select View->Source from your WWW browser and you'll see that the lines are correctly terminated. The problem is that web browsers parse that page as HTML and thus "lose" the carriage returns. I was actually thinking about the same thing today when I exported my own bills to CSV for closer examination. The page would look prettier if the Content-Type header for that page was changed from text/html to text/plain.smh wrote:Can't you just put a cariege return in the csv file after each line?
Actually it works just like that at the moment, although not by design but by luckmicro wrote:That leads me to the idea that the text-area-processing could be modified to tolerate 2-digit years (change 02 to 2002 by itself). The user has to type fewer keystrokes then.
It happened the same for me. G changes for 6 in the short codes.emmem wrote:Today I used the MIF to enter 3 bills (that’s all I got today).
I had 2 printer codes with a G at the 5-the position. After clicking the GO button the G was suddenly changed into 6 (T001G1 became T00161).
I returned to the form. Corrected them both into G again. Pressed GO and MIF changed the first into 6 the second bill was accepted.

Discovered something vary useful today in the massinsert form by accident.
I entered a bill in the “Input a prepared list of notes” to do a test.
Then I transferred it.
I entered another bill in the box.
And transferred again.
He added it after the first bill.
The I added the other 5, transferred and the were put after the first 2.
I think this is a nice feature.
The only thing that is a bit missing is maybe a clear form button. Or maybe a clear line for each line (useful if you press go, see a mistake and hit back to clear the ones that are entered correctly).
It’s just an idea.

Yes, there was a bug in the JavaScript code that I fixed last Friday but that fix has not yet reached EBT. EBT will accept those notes even if they are displayed in red, don't worry too much about it.TC wrote:short code " L009E1" and "R008E1" are not accept!! they are in red???
