You don't get the addresses automatically when you register yourself, you must ask them to be sent to you. There's link in the front page that says "send a postcard".

The 3rd one was from USA, I don't know why but this adress and the confirmation of the register went to he "Junk Mail" and the two other adresses went to the Inbox
I recived my first card today!!! It 's from Switzerland!!!

Today I received two cards: one from USA and the other from Germany.
So far I have received 6 cards altogether. I have sent 12 cards: 9 arrived and 3 still travelling. I had some doubts about receiving cards in the beginning, but this is really working!
@suzyq: There aren't very many postcrossers from Switzerland, so your card is something special.

What do you write on the card?
When I send a card to an euro country, I always write www.eurobilltracker.com somewhere on the card. Unless I know that the receiver already is an EBTer. I'll do that as long as there's no complaints about spamming. I read their forum regularly.
From the postcrossing forum you can get some useful ideas what to write on the card. You can write whatever pops into your mind: what's the weather like in your country; what's happening in your country/city; what's on the card you're sending or just a simple season's greetings. Only the sky is the limit. Be creative!

I only received two cards so far - from UK and Switzerland. Have sent many but only 4 arrived so far, it's taking damn long for them to be registered - I doubt they'd take that long to arrive (so much as I've sent mail everywhere, I know how long it takes.. )
