Europe Day 2015 at our local city hall. Outside, in front of the building, kids could climb up a map of Europe.

Inside there were lots of info booths, a poster wall (see image), political discussions in the plenary hall, a cartoonist ... and probably much more that I did not see.

Now that we know what kind of videos Kaczyński, Orbán, Farage and the like would love let me just add that in my home town we had a Europe Fest in and at the city hall on Saturday. Right, not today - but since there are two Europe Days (5 May/Council of Europe, 9 May/European Union), it is OK to pick the weekend between the two, I think …

Although Europe Day is often celebrated on days other than 9, the real recurrence is 9th may, day of the beginning of European integration process and official holiday since 1985 (although it does not coincide with a non-working day... but I have the non-working day on my own initiative )
